The Scandalous, Dissolute, No-Good Mr. Wright By Tessa Dare

The Scandalous, Dissolute, No-Good Mr. WrightThe Scandalous, Dissolute, No-Good Mr. Wright by Tessa Dare
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This novella was a whirlwind of emotions and scenes, it felt nice and kinda weird to see the interactions between the couples that happen once a year and we see their strange short/years-long courtship XD

- I loved the hero he was the usual misunderstood man who is good hearted but always hides under the guise of a rake

- I didn't like the heroine much, she always misjudged the hero, and made herself to be the martyr

- I loved the last chapter, the way the hero reacted and his response to the whole thing and the way the heroine handled it was cute and adorable XD

Lord Dashwood Missed Out (Spindle Cove, #4.5) By Tessa Dare

Lord Dashwood Missed Out (Spindle Cove, #4.5)Lord Dashwood Missed Out by Tessa Dare
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loooooove that Tessa Dare took us to another Spindle Cove love story, I've missed them so much and it's been a long while since I've read anything about the Spindle Cove crew ^^

- I loved the comradeship that developed between the married couples in Spindle Cove especially the men, since the woman were already friends. And my favorite scene was when Colin asked when they last did something heroic for their wives XD

- At first and though some parts in the novella I thought the hero was an ass and actually my thoughts about him went back and forth and finally settled on he's ok XD

- I actually felt sorry for the heroine at times, even after all those years she still held her heart in her hands and braved to give to him. Again.

- I loved the ending especially the Atlas part XD unlike the heroine if it were me I would focus more on the fact that I was in his mind all those years and the whole idea in itself was adorable actually ^^

- I just wished that the hero was more forward with his thoughts instead of hiding them.

The Devil Wears Kilts (Scandalous Highlanders, #1) By Suzanne Enoch

The Devil Wears Kilts (Scandalous Highlanders, #1)The Devil Wears Kilts by Suzanne Enoch
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ok I'm having some conflicting thoughts about this book.

At first I was so looking forward to it, and the beginning was interesting though it took be a bit to get into it, because the narrator made understanding the Scottish dialect a bit hard at first but I got used to it ^^

- I liked the fact that both sides were proud of their origins, especially the hero

- I liked how the heroine was brave and has spunk and could stand toe to toe with the hero

- I didn't like the sister, which is ironic cause I'm looking forward to reading my her story XD and the reason for my slight dislike is that I felt her a bit selfish, the brother would do anything to make her happy yet she ran away, called him a beast all for what some pretty dresses and men to fawn over her?! (I know that a season was important for a girl at those times and the personality differences between me and her might be the biggest reason for my dislike because I would have taken a brother who would do anything for me over pretty dresses any day of the year) especially the scene when her brothers were at gun point she was like there is a ball tomorrow and who would dance with me? And I was like are u f***ing serious?!!

- I liked how the heroine understood the hero and started to defend him and appreciated his actions and every move

- I especially loved the last chapter and how she solves everything I just wished that there was an epilogue XD

New Leaf (Mystic Creek, #2) By Catherine Anderson

New Leaf (Mystic Creek, #2)New Leaf by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Catherine Anderson is one of my favorite authors, I always go to her when I feel for a need for a good happy story with cute parts and gentle kind hero's.

The first Mystic Creek book is one of my favorite books and I've read it over 3 times already XD and knowing that there would be a series just made my day ^^

This second book wasn't a disappointment but I need to be honest and say I still favor the first book.

- The way the story began was very interesting with the heroine having a secret and the hero is oblivious about it and then bam! Everything starts to unfold.

- I liked when the hero decided to help her and how all his family backed them up, I honestly thought that his parents were planning to make the thing between them permanent not just temporary XD

- And OMG when they introduced her daughter I was shell-shocked, I always have known that children and extremely impressionable, having nieces and nephews myself but seeing to which degree this child witnessed wrong behavior was very shocking indeed.

- I felt very sad when the daughter was very against the hero since the beginning but I like how they developed and ended up being very much satisfied actually XD

I felt the ending was very abrupt and I would have loved an epilogue but I liked that it was a happy cute ending ^^

Falling Into Bed with a Duke (The Hellions of Havisham, #1) By Lorraine Heath

Falling Into Bed with a Duke (The Hellions of Havisham, #1)Falling Into Bed with a Duke by Lorraine Heath
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I love the love stories that Lorraine Heath creates they full of everything that a story need, emotions, events, unexpectedness and much more.

Though I love her stories sometimes I dread reading them if I'm a bit honest. I know that dread is a bit a strong word but it's kinda true. Her stories contain truth and a dose of reality that in some of them I can't help but think they are a bit dark, but the way she twist that darkness to happiness and happy ever after is totally worth it, and that's the pull that I can't resist.

- I loved the heroine she was so bold and smart and straightforward, I liked how she stayed calm and straight faced whenever someone wanted to deliver a jab and I knew without a doubt that she would have K.O-ed them in an instance

- I loved how the hero was so obsessed with her since he first saw her, it kinda gives me hope that their might be someone who would be the same toward me as well XD

- I can say without a doubt that my favorite part was the latest couple of chapters especially when the hero told her dad who has a reputation that is similar to a mafia don that he likes her legs XD

Where Dreams Begin By Lisa Kleypas

Where Dreams BeginWhere Dreams Begin by Lisa Kleypas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I liked this book very much, I've always been a fan of Lisa Kleypas and this book was just as expected full of heartwarming moments and heart wrenching ones as well.

- I loved the fact that the hero wasn't a man to be denied a man who went after what he wanted with intense determination.

- I adored how he established an intense friendship and deep emotions between him and her daughter and the way it showed that both cared about each other was very much evident in their interactions.

- I loved how the heroine didn't care about what society would think when she moved herself and her daughter to his residence and all for her daughter. The way that a mother would do anything to take care and ensure the well being of her off springs reminds me of my own mother ^^ and that was another point I loved in this book

- Though it took them a way too long to get together and I loved the last couple of chapters especially the last one it was full of events and emotions

Christmas from Hell (Neighbor from Hell, #7) By R.L. Mathewson

Christmas from Hell (Neighbor from Hell, #7)Christmas from Hell by R.L. Mathewson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I just love This series and the Bradfords are to die for XD

I liked the idea of them going from someone you hate to someone you can't stop thinking about, especially in Duncan's face.

- I love her Grandpa, even if they keep denying it I Bet there was a Bradford's blood in his veins from once upon a time XD because he seriously just fit in with the lot of them XD

- Though I would say that I expected more from Duncan, but I feel the humor of the Bradfords are lessening with each book, the first five or so were funny, like Jason and Trevor were hilarious, and then Danny was just cute with him being the serious type and huge macho guy to boot but then like any respectable Bradford he gets grumpy and pouty over food XD and when I started first reading this book I expected the same since Duncan seemed like Danny the serious kind, but he was a bit boring to be honest, except the types he acted like a Bradford.

- At first he was a good guy but with asshole tendencies like when he used to hate being around her just because she was a klutz but I liked how he started to notice and I agree with him cause she does sound like a cute character.

- I liked the romantic gataway XD here they showed their true characters XD

Since the last book I thought this one would be about Reese, but it looks like he will be later on

I'm looking forward for more of the Bradfords XD

The Spinster and The Earl By Beverly Adam

The Spinster and The EarlThe Spinster and The Earl by Beverly Adam
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It took me forever to write a review for this book because I got distracted with other books and life XD

At first I was so looking forward toward the book and was looking for it like crazy, but after I found it and started I kinda dragged my feet at the beginning to finish it.

What I didn't like about this book is that it had a lot of inner thought and not enough dialogue between the characters, especially the main couple, and at times I didn't know who's POV I was reading, it was a bit confusing at time, I mean the switch between the monologue of each character, from a paragraph to the other, but here it was a bit unclear. Which eventually led me to skip couple of pages here and there just to get to gist of it XD

- But I liked how eventually the relationship between the couple evolved, from enemies to friends to lovers.

- My favorite part actually was when her ex-fiancée came and at the right moment the earl came to the rescue, it a cliché and not that important for the story as a whole but I don't why I loved it here.

- I just wished that there was an epilogue about the wedding or after that it would have been lovely XD

- Loved the part of the rescue at the end when he was with her dad to get her back XD
