A Texan's Luck (Wife Lottery, #3) By Jodi Thomas

A Texan's Luck (Wife Lottery, #3)A Texan's Luck by Jodi Thomas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Well it certainly took me forever to finish this book XD

When I started this book, it seemed to have a similar beginning like the last one, which I didn't like, both couples misunderstanding each other.

I liked both Lacy and Walker in here, they were like water and fire when they fought, one would stay calm when the other blazes, usually it's Lacy but there are times when it was the captain. I liked when they reach an understanding and settle into a comfortable rhythm with each other and then a problem pops up and all that progress would go down the drain, I don't know how many times they decided on a truce XD. I liked how Walker tried to find everything regarding his wife so they can settle more comfortably together without crossing any lines the other might ignite about. I know they had a rough start together but I'm glad to the way everything ended.

- I liked seeing Carter in this book, he was a cute character, and I'm glad he settled in to some sort of friendship with Walker, at least it's the closest thing to a friend, and I liked when he said both Lacy and Nell were family so of course I wants them in his farm XD

- I liked how they were together when they were at the Fort, it reminded me of the Regency books, where the ladies would call on each other during the day and in the evening the couple would go to a ball XD

- I liked the shopping scenes, I bet the Walker became her favorite customer XD

- The countdown tablet was annoying, I knew at the beginning it was for both of them because both didn't want the other around, especially Walker thought it was for Lacy not being able to stop counting the days to get rid of him, but to Lacy it became fr another reason, it became a countdown for her blessed life as a true wife having a true husband to end, she's counting the days so she can have as much memory as she could get.

- Poor Nell, she was such a brave women, I almost cried when her Ranger came and saw her state.

- I liked how Walker always wanted her close, how he always seemed reluctant to leave her, hated not to touch her, well that when they become moooore comfortable with each other.

- I liked when they went to Carter and Bailee's farm, how everyone seemed to me there to the discomfort of Carter, the good parts were Nell getting better, and how Dalton was always by her side, how Walker and the Ranger seemed to become more friendly.

- Loved the epilogou I think it's one of my favorites, it shows us how obsessed they are about each other and how all his soldiers know about, especially when he send 12 escorts to pick her up, or how he rides and rides like the devil to get to her sooner and how they both run in t each others arms like newly wed love birds, even the soldiers like the scene because his armor as a tough mechanic soldier cracks when shes around XD

Overall, *thumps up*
