Night Angel By Renee Reeves

Night AngelNight Angel by Renee Reeves
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I love the theme of a female caring scars from a tormenting past being and the guy who breaks through her barriers to her true beautiful self, and this book was such a story.

The hero had an instant reaction to her you can say love at first sight and being the tough guy that e is he didn't have a clue. The heroine lived in an abusive marriage for 6 yrs and finally she's out of all this torment, or that what she thought, but sadly she's being haunted by nightmares and flashbacks and caring permanent scars that doesn't allow her to live a normal happy life. Until they met.

- I liked how the hero was persistent about the heroine, not backing down yet not pushing her too far.

- I liked how gentle he was with her.

- And I have to note that this is the first book that I have read so far that the sex scene is spread for more that 2 chapters, like wow that's a long scene XD

- I liked the book but not overly much, the theme wasn't knew to me in fact it's one of my favorites, but I have to admit that I have read better ones, in here the hero was either going for her or trying to distance himself, she always was running and when finally she got sexual with him it kinda solved most her problems -.-

Overall, *thumps side-ways*

Sustained (The Legal Briefs, #2) By Emma Chase

Sustained (The Legal Briefs, #2)Sustained by Emma Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was one hell of an entertaining book.

I've read a lot of positive reviews about this book and I agree that it's amazing. It was the typical womanizer falling in love with an amazing woman but has commitment issues.

- The most beautiful thing in this book in my opinion are the kids, how he interacts with them, how they are around him, how they want him, how he's proud of them, how the heroine and the kids became his life.

- I liked how Regan's third word was Jake

- I loved how he instantly got pulled in into their lives.

- I hated how he tried couple of times to move away and did but I'm glad he had his friends around.

- But still I think I love the bonding that happened between him and the kids more.

Mugs of Love (Stories of Love #1) By Norma Jeanne Karlsson

Mugs of Love (Stories of Love #1)Mugs of Love by Norma Jeanne Karlsson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I.LOVED.IT.TO.THE.CORE!!! I loved the book, I loved whole thing, I loved every single thing.
I don't know what to say to convey my love to this book.

Everything in it was cute from the heroine who was cute personified in the story to the hero to the friends to the kids. The heroine was cute and loving and kind and sweet, personally I can't see myself hugging a stranger just cause he asked if I needed help. I just wanted to be her throughout the story through the good and through the bad.

The hero said something that absolutely describes him in here, he's a caveman XD. he's the quiet kind with the tough badass demeanor but when he's with the heroine be really turns to a caveman with his one word commands "Mouth: that's for a kiss. Never: never letting you go" and stuff like that, he was totally sweet and good, and when he found his brother their interactions with each other were cute as hell.

- I loved every single character tat was considered a family or a friend in this book, from Emily, Garrett, Cody, Jordan, Hunter, Alyssa, Caleb. Jenna to Clyde, Arlene and Beverly.

- I loved the relationships that were in the book, from Emily with Jordan, to Clyde with Garrett. The friendship with Jordan was beautiful, they were truly like brother and sister, and they obviously loved each other and had each others back. Clyde was the closest thing to a father that Garrett had and I loved seeing them together, it was obvious to me that both loved each other, since whatever Garrett did Clyde was acting like a proud father. I loved the relationships that developed during the book, Emily's friendship with Jenna was cute which showed girl power in a way XD. The thing with Cody was the cutest, he was hesitant at first but between Emily and Garrett giving him unconditional love and spoiling him in both their different ways he didn't have a chance, I loved the hugging scenes between the guys and it was obvious Cody loved Emily very much, she was both a mother and a sister to him, since he's already in high school but every time she caresses his head he leans into her touch. I loved how Hunter and Alyssa took to all of them instantly, especially at the end when hunter and Alyssa got adopted by Caleb and Jenna, it was a good happy family.

- I loved the hard parts as well, when the kids were in the hospital it showed they cared about each other, it showed they were cared about but the rest of the gang, how everyone ran to them, how the guys went to seek vengeance, how Emily turned in to their guardian angel. Also, when Emily was in the hospital how the kids ran to her and cried, none of them caring that they were big or boys or adults.

- I loved the other couple in the story Caleb and Jenna, even their intro in the book was cute, when Emily tried to protect a women who was bigger than her in size from a much bigger adversary it was cute actually I imagine her as a puppy in that scene XD. This couple kinda hit it of since their into and it was cute how they got the back of everyone else, I kinda wanna know Jenna's background since it was mentioned couple of times that she had a tough past that made her not caring about what Caleb does in the Club. I loved the part when he proposed and she said yes and when they took the kids in, how he treated Alyssa with gentleness and love.

- I loved how the main couple understand each other, sometimes the heroine scares me since it seems in some parts that she literally can read his mind word by word. it was good since they avoided problems and misunderstandings, which was a bonus in here.

- Moreover, I noticed some repetition in here, one sentence that keeps coming throughout the book, when they kiss "Then she waits for me to take over, and I do"

- I even loved the tough parts, where they even torture the bad guys, they totally deserve it, maybe at the end it was a bit gruesome but it was justified, the only thing I can say that is reassuring me is I'm not the one who is seeing the mangled body they ended up with, and Jenna is one tough woman to be the only women who was there. I liked the part where everyone took revenge for their loved ones in their own way.

Overall, * sigh* I still don't thing thing I gave it the credit it deserves so all I can do is *all fingers up (consider them thumps please ^^)*

Fanning the Flames (Jackson: Girls' Night Out, #0.5)Fanning the Flames by Victoria Dahl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A very nice cute short story.

This is my first time reading about a couple in there forties, I liked that. It showed that love or even like can be at anytime, either it's been going on for a while or sudden.

- I liked the heroine's friend, she was so bold with a quiet facade.

- I liked how both were attracted to each other but tried not to make a move on it.

- There instant attraction after the igniting night was cute to watch.

- I liked the fact that the hero's future son-in-law worked with him and they have a close relationship XD

Fast Track (Buchanan-Renard, #12) By Julie Garwood

Fast Track (Buchanan-Renard, #12)Fast Track by Julie Garwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I feel like saying WOW cause I reached the 12th book XD this is the second series I have read that I reached this number ^^

Since the main couple here were introduced in a previous book in the series I've been waiting for their book, since there have been mention about them in two books. However, this book sent me into a crying fit since page one I'm serious from page ONE. It was such sad touching scene.

I liked the hero and heroine in here, the heroine acted as if she got over her crush but it's kinda ironic, when she started to convince herself to stop and start looking for someone else the hero got possessive and wants her.

- I liked how she started living with the hero, and have he knew how to manage her XD

- I liked how the hero got possessive

- The villains are kinda expected it was either from his side or her side, and the synopsis was misleading regarding the villain but maybe that was on purpose.

- I kinda hope the someone from her mother's family would welcome her, but I'm glad she has her own family so I'm glad to give them the boot XD

I LOVE JULIE GARWOOD!! *fangirling moment* XD

Hotshot (Buchanan-Renard, #11) By Julie Garwood

Hotshot (Buchanan-Renard, #11)Hotshot by Julie Garwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This one in the Buchanan-Renard series didn't contain a single Buchanan, which is a bummer but it's still a really great book.

This book was less intense on the action scale, and by action it's not the bed kind XD but the suspense kind. there wan't much mystery in it either since we knew the culprit from the get go, I think it was more focused on the characters themselves and their romance more.

- I think in here the heroine was my favorite character, she was so vibrant and good. Her goodness was more evident in how she treated people and brought them smiles and happiness like the hero, she gave him a sense of calm and settlement since with his line of work he sees horrible stuff.

- I liked the two friends the heroine made, the thee of them were totally different in appearance but all of them were good people.

- I liked how the hero confessed his feeling for the heroine it was such a cute and unique way.

- The interactions between them were so cute, like they instantly clicked as a couple, like there wasn't any awkwardness between them.

- I like the other couples as well, I don't have a favorite but it was nice to see the development of one and the instant attraction of another.

- Loved the epilogue

Darkness (New Species, #12) By Laurann Dohner

Darkness (New Species, #12)Darkness by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I know I keep saying in each book in this series that it is different but what can I say they are different, in this case Darkness had some commitment issues and his liking fr bondage XD

Ok Darkness wasn't the first one in this sereis with commitment issues, Tiger is the biggest example of that, but in here he just didn't want to get close to anyone, and to enforce that he turned to bondage during sex.

- I liked the fact that he was totally solo that some people thought he was guy just cause he's not having sex with any woman XD

- The heroine was a kickass, the strong type that totally can stand up to someone if their shit gt too much. I liked the fight scene right after she got inside Homeland and the scene where she saved her friend, she was the take action type.

- The thing with Trey was a bit mysterious but I think he's in a thing with a New Species female, I hope it's either Breeze or Sunshine.

- I kinda hoped the best friend gt together with one of the New Species, Maybe Book, cause he went inside a burning crumbling house to get her pets XD

- I liked the relationship between Darkness and Fury, especially Fury's persistence and the last part in the book was cute.

- I liked Salvation very much ^^

True (New Species, #11) By Laurann Dohner

True (New Species, #11)True by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I don't know how to start except with this series isn't going to spiraling down, it just keeps getting better and interesting ... and sexy XD

True was first introduced at the previous book "Moon" in there he gave me a different impression in there he was more innocent more puppy like, with how excited he was about the Harley and stuff. however in here he was more in control, like the rest of the New Species, how do I explain this? when they get an idea of a mission in their heads they are devoted to it, he wasn't the stern dominating type.

- I liked how he developed a link with Darkness, because it looked to me that Darkness represts a mentor figure for True more than a friend, which was nice as well.

- The idea that introduced the heroine wasn't new since it was the same one that introduced the first heroine in book one "Fury" but in here she was manipulated I hated how the task force treated her. Even the New Species after knowing she was from Mercile treated her better.

- This was the first book that made me cry, The whole series had it sad grim moments but this one really tugged at my strings. especially the scene were she confessed everything she suffered when she was under the sedative

- I liked the big reunion that was done in her honor, it was cute and nice to see, and I couldn't help but notice every guy she new wanted her XD

Moon (New Species, #10) By Laurann Dohner

Moon (New Species, #10)Moon by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

AWESOME series, it seems awesome is the only word I can attach to this series so far, everywhere I mention it whether here or in twitter it's always awesome to me XD

Since reading the first book I kinda lost track of time, there was mention if weeks and months between the couples meeting and finally mating but I never counted them, but in here it kinda struck you that it has been couple of years since New Species were discovered it's kinda awesome and intimidating a a way.

I loved the couples in here, Moon was cute. after it was mentioned he sulked a lot at first I remembered that he had his first appearance with Harley in book 2 "Slade" in there he was always described as sullen and not much f a talkative person, but in the previous book "Obsidian" we can view the change that transpired in him in the last couple of years, he was the hugging cheerful type ^^

- I loved his relationship with Harley, you can see how they care about each other, I loved when Moon said that he found a family in Harley, since all of them are orphans and the NSO is a big family it was nice seeing deep brotherhood bonds between them.

- I didn't like how both main characters suffered disagreements, and how many time the heroine had to repeat herself for the reasons she fled Moon before.

- Moon's insecurities were given but still he choose her so at least he should give her the benefit of the doubt not instantly jumping to conclusions.

- I liked how Moon was after he turned back to normal and how protective he was of her, it was funny XD

Shadow (New Species, #9) By Laurann Dohner

Shadow (New Species, #9)Shadow by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Now this one is totally different, since both hero and heroine are New Species ^^

I loved the fact that it was a follow up about two characters we were introduced to in previous books, Beauty was the petite cute type who snarls and her hair stands on end when she fights (you certainly have showed them that you have spunk girl, good for you) XD and Shadow was the best friend who always by the book who is suffering from certain fears that no one gets except his best friend, and I liked the bond between them XD

- I liked the part with the pets Tiger and Fury XD I was waiting for this moment since I got to know the cat's name in Wrath.

- I loved that it was a Species bonding like even Gift's can move on and bond with others, and the fact that both were possessive of each other and were exclusive was a bonus. Like they were honest from the get go "Me you and that's it" kind of honest.

- I liked the fact that in here there weren't any misunderstandings when one was worried he instantly tells the other and they fix it.

- There are many characters I want to read books about like Breeze and Leo and Creek and Midnight since she's the only female who hooked up with a human guy ^^ and I really wanna know who Breeze will hook up with I liked her from book one and she was a constant presence whether it was big or minor she still was there.

Obsidian (New Species, #8) By Laurann Dohner

Obsidian (New Species, #8)Obsidian by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ok this one is another cute book like Valiant since the hero was a bit new to some things. But unlike Valiant this guy was a bit isolated from the rest of his people he didn't knew they existed by the hundreds.

I liked the fact that the heroine though a bit timid since she was introduced before had some balls to follow her decisions even if they were severe. The fact that she was the only one who could calm him was sweet too.

- I liked their first interaction after he woke and saved her, (view spoiler) XD it was certainly entertaining.

- The fact that he was such a cave man with her was so cute, and how he wanted to please her but didn't know how, except with his gruff commands.

- I liked the male bonding part with Moon, how he went to him for advice and admitting stuff to him, even when he accepted his hug XD

- I loved the babies part, where they showed us the first two couple playing with the baby and how Fury was with his child was so adorable and heartwarming

Tiger (New Species, #7) By Laurann Dohner

Tiger (New Species, #7)Tiger by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have to say on this book the first thing that comes to mind is: Finally he got what he deserved! XD after all the teasing and denial he did during all the previous books so far he fell in love .. with a woman .. with a human .. Yippee!! ^^

- I liked how they instantly clicked.

- I liked how bold the heroine was during the whole book, especially with him and the bad guys.

- The hero was a bit annoying with his commitment issues, and he wasn't reasonable he wants he but won't get close to her, when he chooses not to be with her he deny her any choice to be with anyone else, I'm not saying I want her with someone else it's just unreasonable and selfish.

- There were many other characters that were mentioned here that I would like to have their own books ^^

Overall, *thumps up* I'm really loving this sereis

Wrath (New Species, #6) By Laurann Dohner

Wrath (New Species, #6)Wrath by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this guy he’s so cute, a bit different than Valiant but the same cuteness.

His type is the clueless and a bit childlike type. I liked Wrath and the fact that he was mentioned in the previous book as one of the freshly freed New Species is nice to, since I once wanted to know about someone from the last discovered facility. The heroine was cute too, the type that people judge by appearances of an overweight girl who would never get a guy but I bit she wanna go all “In your face b*tchs XD”

- I liked the fact that the hero had a close relationship to Shadow

- I liked how Amanda was with Flame, he’s the guy who is been always mentioned since book 2 and still he didn’t get his own book and I can’t wait

- I liked that the heroine developed friendships quickly with her fellow prisoners XD at least they believed her quicker than the prisoners of the previous book

Brawn (New Species, #5) By Laurann Dohner

Brawn (New Species, #5)Brawn by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I'm getting addicted to New Species, I want my own devastatingly handsome dominant possessive New Species male who is all about me XD

We got introduced to Brawn in the last book, though he gave a different impression in there than in here, in the previous book he was funny and bold, in here he was polite and gruff and protective and adorably confused XD

The heroine was bold at the beginning, brave at the middle and stubborn at the ending.

- I know it's a bit mean but I liked how close they got together during their imprisonment in the cage.

- Every time I think I'm prepared to the awful thing the Mercile people did to the New Species but in every book there is something more shocking than the one before, I hate especially how they excuse their inhumane behavior with it's for the sake of science or that they aren't people that't just make them more disgusting.

- I liked how the book ended especially after Breeze came and explained everything and then the part with her dad was cute too.

- Again I want a New Species mate! T^T

Justice (New Species, #4) By Laurann Dohner

Justice (New Species, #4)Justice by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ok I think so far this is the first book that has the longest record so far between the couples initial meeting till they finally married XD

I think I preferred the hero more on the previous books, he was more positive minded and supportive. I know personally I didn't like his actions since I'm a woman too and I get where the heroine is coming from, but also I understand that his reasons are justified considering his high position (he's practically the president to them) and the the ramifications of them since no one can predict the future. Still it pissed me off but yeah I get where he's coming from too XD

The heroine sure can kick ass, she reminds me of the heroine of book one and three, one cause she's hard core and can kill people when needed, three cause she got spunk, and doesn't take crap from anyone. But most of the book I felt sorry for the heroine, he's always giving her signals and then acting reversely and I thought it kinda selfish of him telling her she can't get close to other guys while he can go with other women.

- I liked how the people around them helped them on couple of occasions like Breeze and Tiger and Ellie and Fury

- I liked how the Gift Females are getting better and more comfortable with their surroundings

- I felt regret over the last fight, with the new Species, I think it's the authors way of showing there is no perfect community

- I loved the heroine's father he was so cool about really liking them and he didn't hide his true feelings regarding them ^^

Valiant (New Species, #3) By Laurann Dohner

Valiant (New Species, #3)Valiant by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I think so far this is gonna be my favorite book in the series or one of them, cause seriously this book is adorable.

I loved Valiant, I was interested in him since he was first introduced in the last book, but man what a book *sigh*. The Mine part was cute, and how he clings to her was as well.

- I loved how he and the heroine instantly kicked it off, it was weird at first since I know a Tammy and she under 5 yrs but I adjusted XD

- I liked the fact that the heroine had spunk in her and fought anything she didn't like, and wasn't prejudice.

- Every time I keep reading about their pasts (the New Species) my heart goes out to them and every time their is something worse being revealed, I started to question the real life pharmaceutical companies and I just hope that what happened in these books isn't happening in real life.

- I loved the difference in Valiant every time the heroine was around, when she is there he is all cuddly and cute, when she's not he's all scary and snarly XD

- I loved how they still don't know everything about human nature, which makes some scenes really cute like how they thought Pizza was nutritional since people eat it with gusto XD

- I liked how the heroine made friends with others like Trisha the heroine of the previous book, and others like Tiger and Breeze and 927.

- I liked the good news about the birthing it was cute to watch all three (I say watch cause in the way the author describes the sense I fell like I'm really watching what happens) ^^

- Oh yeah before I miss it again cause I've been planning on saying this since the first book, I love the naming thing, it's so nice.

Slade (New Species, #2) ByLaurann Dohner

Slade (New Species, #2)Slade by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a cute and humorous book ^^

I loved the hero, Slade was the typical funny sexy guy who knows he's good looking and who always tend to use sexual innuendos and teases the girl he likes type of guy that you meet in most books. I loved him for that, and the fact that he was so gentle and sweet.

- The heroine seemed a bit uptight at first, then she was like some kid with abandonment issues, but I liked how she handles herself in crisis's.

- I loved how the heroine befriended the other New Species, but hated when the story Almost was about to turn to a 2-guys-fight-over-the-girl thing, but thank god it didn't.

- Loved Valiant, all his appearances were amazing, especially the last chapter XD

- Loved the (view spoiler)

- Loved how Slade and Trisha acted like parents to the other New Species with them it was cute XD

- And Slade had these moments when he says something so straightforward that makes me melt ^^

Fury (New Species, #1) By Laurann Dohner

Fury (New Species, #1)Fury by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved it !!

This is my first book ever that has a Shifter or DNA-difference theme and I'm loving it.

I loved both hero and heroine and all the New Species characters, the hero reminded me of the medieval knights or vikings being all heroic and possessive about their women, because the hero was certainly possessive. Plus I like the obsession factor that was holding both characters, though the hero showed the most obvious symptoms.

For the synopsis I was curious how will he go from wanting to kill her to loving her, and certainly he wanted to with all the betrayed emotions he had. Oh but how beautiful it was, the transformation and how bold the hero was in showing his affection. And the fact that after all the slavery and experimentations they suffered he was able to openly express himself and obtain his other half was truly a beautiful thing to see, or in this case to read.

BTW since the hero is all alpha and stuff don't be mistaken in thinking the heroine is so meek, the girl during the whole book already killed three guys. She's small and human but she has true guts t face what needs to be faced, whether it's evil or good, and she got a great sense of camaraderie, like how she's becoming tight with many New Species, and even the female human doctor.

- The thing I liked most is how they were together, how loving and caring and playful he was.

- I didn't liked the fact that people always jumped to the conclusion he's gonna hurt her, whether they were humans or New Species.

I'm really looking forward to reading this series ^^
