Between the Devil and Desire (Scoundrels of St. James, #2) By Lorraine Heath

Between the Devil and Desire (Scoundrels of St. James, #2)Between the Devil and Desire by Lorraine Heath
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved Jack, and the touch of a single parent theme is melting ^^

- Jack was wonderful, of course I had my doubts about him since the first book, since no one seemed t trust him fully even the Feagan's Lads didn't except for Luke and we have see what that had turned into. However unlike the heroine I didn't base judgments n him from what I heard about him, I was just curious about him. I was slightly annoyed with the heroine till half way through the book, she was so judgmental ALWAYS thinking the worst of him, always thinking he's the one at fault, always assuming he was the one who did the wrong, even the first scene when they first met, she kept having this one sided conversation about his wicked bad life and all he did was sit in the chair and ignore her, But I'm glad she saw the mistake in her actions and righted her behavior.

He was so lovely with Henry, and since the beginning I sensed the connection between them that they realized at the end of the book. I liked how he was attuned to Henry's behavior and fears, how he paid bags of money just so the boy can have a moments of joy. I liked his protectiveness toward the boys, because his experience is something that no boy should experience, it's just unnatural and plainly sick.

- I liked the heroine, she was ok. I liked how she was devoted to her son, but her insistence on propriety was annoying, I liked her much more on the second half of the book, specifically after they fired the old nanny, that's when they started to develop their camaraderie. I loved her at the end, when they ended up together, how she was fiercely loyal to jack and is ignoring society and its dictates.

- I loved the loyalty between the Feagan brood, they were together from thin to thick and back.

- I loved the relationship that developed between Jack and Henry, the hero worship in the boy's eyes was evident, and I loved the imitating scene at the dinner table.

In Bed with the Devil (Scoundrels of St. James, #1) By Lorraine Heath

In Bed with the Devil (Scoundrels of St. James, #1)In Bed with the Devil by Lorraine Heath
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved it!! This is my first book by Lorraine Heath and I loved every second of it.

- Loved the hero, he was sooo kind and sweet and totally doesn't fit the name of the Devil, he was more gentlemanly more kind, more brave more .. just more in every area than any other man in the book, maybe not all we still didn't get to know the others form Feagan's scoundrels, but that is soon is going to be remedied. Anyway the point is he was more of a gentleman than anyone who claimed they were.

- Loved the heroine, the word that fits her the most is Bold. for she was bold, she doesn't take to commands well, she talks back, she fights back, she doesn't hesitate, she keeps going forward and on. I loved how she was bold and brazen how she thought of the Earl and how it changed, how she was calm about everything about his history and how she was comfortable with his friends. Simply I loved that she accepts him for him.

- Even though there was a third wheel between them, but that didn't worry me much because since the beginning of the book Frannie admitted that she only sees him as a brother and she was encouraging their relationship.

- Loved how comfortable they were with each other, I loved the omelette scenes.

- I loved the fight scene where she protects him, which shows shes not the time to stand back and let herself be protected which makes me like her more.

- I loved the scenes that followed them to the country house, the night, the picnic, all of it, they were so cute.

- The ending was lovely, but I think I don't like the brother much, he was overbearing with I'm lord and master crap, hated him on the spot for that. But I loved how they came together.

Vet's Desire (Big Girls Lovin' Trilogy, #3) By Angela Verdenius

Vet's Desire (Big Girls Lovin' Trilogy, #3)Vet's Desire by Angela Verdenius
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm loving Angels Verdenius books, I'm thinking of reading the lawson boys books next ^^

- I was really shocked with Tim in this book, in the previous ones he was the funny joker guy in the group, but you notice glimpses of the sadness within. In here he really opened up, he looked within himself and took a closer look to his surroundings and finally FINALLY talked about his feelings. I liked how he became upfront to her, he might have stumbled in the beginning but caught up and spilled his guts, for once in this series the guy here is the one who was afraid of a broken heart when he spilled everything for her.

- Cindy was a breath of fresh air, she was happy and has a great family, I liked her confidence, I liked that she has the balls to stand up for herself and doesn't take crap from anyone. I liked how she made Time feel.

- Couldn't help but fall for Al like the rest of her family.

- Loved the guy talks, and even when they had each others back, like when Mike talked to Cindy, how they told him the truth about his feelings, and every scene they appeared in was nice, cause it showed how happy and in love the previous couple are.

- I liked how Tim faced his mom at the end once and for all.

- I liked Cindy's brothers, especially when Tim was in the picture.

- The only negative side is that there is no epilogue T^T

Cop's Passion (Big Girls Lovin' Trilogy, #2) By Angela Verdenius

Cop's Passion (Big Girls Lovin' Trilogy, #2)Cop's Passion by Angela Verdenius
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A very nice follow up story after the amazing first couple, this couple was fabulous.

- Liked Maddy and her snide remarks, how she was ballsy but nice at the same time, depending on her target.

- Loved Mike, like what Maddy said he was a walking wet dream, everything about him was nice and cute, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds that hulking softie cute, especially his moments with the kitten, those I was all ahhh and ohhh. How he was don't get close to me and he cuddles it close XD I liked how he was bold and didn't hesitate to state his intentions as bluntly as possible.

- I liked how the guys interacted, they were cute and funny, and how Tim is like "oh darling you want me to kiss your bobo?" XD and then Alan with his k-i-s-s-i-n-g songs, never gets old XD and personally I think Mike and Rick are so alike that's why Tim is like are we having girls time now XD

- I liked the banter between the couple, how they got each other, and kinda clicked.

- Loved the ending especially when facing their families, those asshole deserved what they got, I'm in exactly the same situation, they are like if you lose weight we are sure you will find a guy and stuff, do Maddy YOU GO GIRL!! and Mike I could kiss you for what you have said and DID XD

Overall, *thumps up* I'm looking forward to the next book, the main couple for it sound really interesting.

Doctor's Delight (Big Girls Lovin' Trilogy, #1) By Angela Verdenius

Doctor's Delight (Big Girls Lovin' Trilogy, #1)Doctor's Delight by Angela Verdenius
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved it, it was my first book for a plus-sized girl and I really liked it.

- Loved the hero, he was soooooo cute when he was with her, and in other reviews I read someone described him like a puppy following her around, which is true, and do you know what other thing is true about him, him being a potential stalker XD I'm glad that he got through t the heroine and they got together, otherwise I don't know what he would have done, cause seriously he was really persistent for someone who met her only by coincidence before and had sex with her only once. Which I have to admit is sweet in a weird sort of way, not the stalkery kind but the really care about you and drool after you kind.

- The heroine was cute, not my first with a virgin hooking up with a male escort ends up with another guy scenario but it was really cute, right after when she realized who that stranger was. I understood her fears and hesitation on everything, I admit I'm a medium sized girl but believe I know people who keeps mouthing fatty to my face daily, s I understood the heroine and I didn't get annoyed at her hesitation, as a matter of fact I think she was really brave, opening up to him bit by bit, and trusting him with her inner most constant fears.

- I liked how cheeky the hero got around her, his insinuations were so obvious and some were cheesy but still cute.

- Liked how they were at the party at the end of the book, Loved Nancy and Tim, especially that gay conversation XD

- Liked how the heroine friends stick up for her, and have her back, especially that moment when they fought with the hero before they left for the party.

- Loved the fight scene at the end, and everything that came after.

- That bitch got what she deserves, especially the part were people saw her true colors. I really don't get it why is there people that mean, what's wrong with being nice to others? what kind of twisted satisfaction does those people get when they talk shit to others?

The Mistake (Off-Campus, #2) By Elle Kennedy

The Mistake (Off-Campus, #2)The Mistake by Elle Kennedy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Honestly I didn't expect this book to be this way, from the synopsis I thought it would be all gloomy and angsty, but true to Elle Kennedy's writing from The Deal she made it to be amusing, entertaining, and lovely.

Since book one I liked Logan, actually I liked the quartet they were so cute and hot. I felt sorry for Logan being him crushing after his best friend's girl. And got made at him using another girl as a replacement of sort. But the getting to know each other minus the mistakes and later when the making making amends part were well worth the read, I just loved it, it pulled me in, a believe me it's been a while since a book really pulled me in without the intense urge to just skim.

In here I didn't find anyone female character that intrigued me or better put pulled me in to her, cause even the heroine is normal, Hannah from The Deal had the past incident in her hometown thing, but this one lived normally and was okay, nothing interesting around her, not as past or present. Just to make things clear I'm not dicing her she great, just for the fact that she made a perfect match with Logan, in a way the author balanced it out, he had the shitty past, she mends his heart.

- Liked the tasks part, especially the poem and the velvet chaise lounge XD

- Loved how he was so desperate t win her back, the author showed him more determined than desperate, and yet even if it did it won't look bad on him.

- I loved how the guys had each other's back, G & Logan that is.

- The scene Logan had with her father made me cry

- I loved many many more scenes, because Elle Kennedy *Bless her Soul* has an amazing way in bringing humor into the pages

- Loved the last chapter and the ending, to tell the truth I was hopeless about Logan's situation but thankfully it solved itself.

Overall, *thumps up* it's really nice for a change to see a guy who would ignore the world and faces the embarrassments face on with a shit eating grin on his face and do whatever to get his girl back

Double Dare (Neighbor from Hell, #6) By R.L. Mathewson

Double Dare (Neighbor from Hell, #6)Double Dare by R.L. Mathewson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It was god yet it wasn't THAT good, not like the previous ones, but I don't want to sound harsh cause it had it's hilarious moments.

- I really felt sorry for Darrin, he was so devoted to her since they met at 7, and I can't believe he spent 6 yrs having sex with her, but not holding her hand in public. I hated when he finally acknowledge he was a fuck buddy so far, where at the beginning he thought of it as some weird relationship, not just platonic sex. I he just keeps getting a blow after the other, I think how Marybeth treating him was a bit high-handed but I guess that's her way of avoiding the issue and sticking up for herself, and they both grew up on that kind of relationship, so I guess they are used to it. But if I had a guy like Darrin who would do anything for me I won't leave him for the world, I guess that's a Bradford trait after they find their woman.

- I looooooooved the gay thing with the mom, it reached to the degree where she was trying to find a guy for him, it just Hhhhhh XD

- Jason and Trevor in the last couple books, seems to have upgraded their occupation to matchmakers and marriage consultants, its funny but in a way I think they d it because they are happy with their families and they want the people they care about to be happy as well. In a Bradford kind of way.

- I loved the parts where Jodi and Danny were mentioned, especially at the ending, it was AMAZING XD

- Hated the whole fight in the book, they kept on let's cut this bullshit and have a serious talk and they just fight and not talk, I almost despaired about their situation and when will they make up and end it, and it didn't happen till the very ending, and because of it I had to do some skimming.

- Can't wait for the next book, I'm curious about who Reese will end up with I just hope it's not the one who was mentioned in this book, because from all accounts she sounded like a bitch.

Drive Me Crazy (Holland Springs, #1) By Marquita Valentine

Drive Me Crazy (Holland Springs, #1)Drive Me Crazy by Marquita Valentine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Weeeeeell It was a nice book, it intrigued me, made me wanna know what's gonna become of the hero and heroine, but the heroine especially.

- I liked both the hero and heroine, they were good people, the hero was nice and protective but has a bad habit of spouting crap when he can't control his emotions. The heroine was amazing, sweet and sexy, strong and resilient, kind and forgiving, even if the asshole community doesn't know it.

- One thing I hated about this book his how people were talking crap about the heroine, like she's not good enough, like she's trash, or more worthless than a dog, plus the most common insult a whore, which she definitely wasn't.

- In many intervals I hated many people for that reason, the ex-fiance throughout, the mother when she didn't like her with the hero and was supporting the ex-fiancee, even the hero when he has these stupid moments where he talks shit to her, and when it's too late he's like oh shit what did I just say?!

- I felt sorry for her with such a dad, and I understood her embarrassment, but for that reason I knew how strong she was, it's kinda rare in books were I like a heroine much more than the hero, usually the hero is my fav or both in equal measures, but here I loved her.

While It Lasts (Sea Breeze, #3) By Abbi Glines

While It Lasts (Sea Breeze, #3)While It Lasts by Abbi Glines
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have to admit Cage had made a series turnover in my mind, it's not that I didn't like him before, but man how do I like him now.

- Loved how Cage wasn't all about the sexual in this book, that even he realized that it's way more than that, plus he didn't want it to be only for that.

- I felt so soo sooo sorry for Cage throughout the book, how people were judgmental about him, hw she was with him at the beginning, how his friends were all about the sexual arund him (it kinda degraded him), and how she kept running away when she started to have confused emotions, the rejection, the you-are-way-beneath-her crap, and her dad's attitude toward him, I just wanted to bust someone's face with my mini excuses of fists on his behalf.

- I kinda didn't like the heroine, okay yeah the letter in the prologue brought tears to my eyes from the first page, but after 1.5 year that didn't give her card blanch to mess with him and them she goes all he doesn't care about me shit, DUDE R U KIDDING ME?! you are the one you was cold to him, you are the one who runs away, you are the one who ignores him.

- I Loved the ending, when he went back confronted her dad, then she coming back to him with a song, and then moving in with him, showing dear old daddy that your a big girl.

Worth the Risk (The McKinney Brothers, #2) By Claudia Connor

Worth the Risk (The McKinney Brothers, #2)Worth the Risk by Claudia Connor
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm really really liking Claudia Connor's books, I stumbled by Worth the Fall by coincidence, and now after reading both books, I think I'm in love with her already.

Worth the risk was a beautiful book, not cute and fluffy in any way, but a book that show cases that's a person's beauty and value isn't on the outer layer, and that human being are strong, they suffer they crawl back to safe shores they pull themselves together and they survive. Because both our hero and heroine were survivors in an intense way both emotionally and physically.

- I loved how Stephen was so absorbed in Hannah since the beginning

- I couldn't help but think of Hannah as a cute heroine, so self conscious about her looks and having suck low self esteem yet still so sweet.

- I loved how Stephen reconnected with his family more, how they embraced Hannah

- Loved the Walkers, and couldn't help but feel for them after nick described how they found Hannah, and I think after the McKinney brothers are done the series will continue with the Walkers.

- The way Hannah suffered and Stephen's ex-fiancee suffered were so similar that I thought at the beginning it might ruin their relationship, which was fragile at best in the beginning.

- I loved how Stephen fixed her low self esteem how he made her comfortable in her own skin, like after that scandal sheet thing he helped her calm down and all.

- I know I was spouting a lot of fan girling moment's on other books like I wanna e in the heroine's place and such, and I know this is harsh but I don't wanna be in Hannah's shoes, which shows that I'm a weak where she is strong, because if I went through what she did I don't think I will ever recover, or look at the world as it had any good in it. And I'm happy for her, because they really deserve their happy ever after, and the epilogue was beautiful because it was another hurdle she bypassed with Stephen, I'm just very proud of her for some reason.

Overall, *10 fingers up* XD

Checkmate With Bishop (Hellion MC #5) By J.A. Hornbuckle

Checkmate With BishopCheckmate With Bishop by J.A. Hornbuckle
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I liked this book but I have to say from the bottom of my heart Wheew~
This certainly was more intense than the rest, not in action kind of way like the rest but in the emotional category.

Almost till the 60% of the book I was flooding my room with tears, but the other 40% it turned to dry season. I loved the Hellions I I want to thank the author for this lovely series and I'm truly glad that this series is my first MC series ever, and I bet if not for the way the author wrote it I wouldn't even have got near MC books. This book was a lovely sum-up to the whole series and the amazing Hellion council, but I still need to voice out that Silo is my favorite, To the rest of the council: no offense to the rest you are all hot and amazing but I had a thing for Silo since the beginning, oh and Trey your my second XD

- Loved the brotherly emotional scenes between Bishop and the rest of the brothers.

- I need to admit I didn't like Dory, yeah she suffered, yeah he didn't do shit when they were young, but still she kept his kid from him for 13 yrs, and I still most of the book she acted him he always did the wrong thing never her, she didn't show enough guilt, but Bishop kept hating himself more for all the guilt he felt after learning what happened before. Still the lack f remorse and the bitchy defense mechanism bugged me, like seriously she initiates sex then tells him what now your after civilian women?!! Are you kidding me?!! and shes mad at him most of the book when he's supposed t be mad at her.

- Bishop and his kid on the other hand were beautiful to watch and read about all their scenes and interactions. How both are settling into their new situation, I was over the moon when the kid finally called him dad in the hospital.

- When I said the first half of the book made me cry buckets I wasn't kidding all the emotional stuff and the interactions between Bishop and the people he cares about, and him dying thing, finding out about his kid and all that stuff, *sigh* it was so intense man, at times I couldn't even read from how blurry everything looked and I had to take couple of seconds to tune down the tears a bit.

- Loved Loved Loved Loved Loved Loved Loved Loved the epilogue a beautiful ending for a beautiful series, with all the kids and stuff.

Seduced by Sunday (The Weekday Brides, #6)Seduced by Sunday by Catherine Bybee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I liked this one as well, I think it's a great follow up after the previous awesome books, one thing I can say abut Catherine Bybee as a new reader to her books, is that her books keep getting better and better.

- I loved both the heroine and the hero, they were both cute and cute XD

- I loved their banter before all the mess started, the kiss, the singing the flirting, even the acting with the others XD

- Loved how he went to her in Italy it was cute, and I loved how they instantly went at it.

- it was also nice to see the previous couples interactions, Judy& Rick, Eliza & Carter.

- I loved Micheal and Ryder in here, they were so adorable and I'm happy for Micheal, that he finally he got it out of his chest and how all things ended.

- I Just have to say it again they were a cute couple, there wasn't any awkwardness in their flirting and it didn't take a loooooooooong time to get together like Judy& Rick Wheew thank god XD

Overall, *thumps up* I just can't wait for the next book to get released Gabi deserves her happy ending, not what she got from that sick bastard.

What to Do with a Bad Boy (The McCauley Brothers, #4)What to Do with a Bad Boy by Marie Harte
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

BEST book in the series XD

Since I started this sereis I just culd't wait to read this one, I'm into some tough-guy/girl it's really cute when they try to act cool when all they wanna do was to go all lovey dovey XD

- Loved Colin since book one, he was one cute kid, and I liked how he was the biggest fan of the main couple hooking up.

- Loved the family support from both sides, how they ganged up and had communication to hook them up, it was so cute with the operation naming and spying stuff XD

- It made me cry buckets, whenever I tell myself ok this week I'm over crying over a book or some animation (yeah I cry in animation, what can I do Japanese animation are too good and have some intense scenes XD) but here I am crying over Mike, it was a cute heartbreaking scene, him with both dads by his side.

- Through most of the book I kinda gt pissed the mom, how she kept giving Del the cold shoulder and preferring another woman for her boy, I'm just glad she got back her senses at the end of the book

- Loved the last chapter, where the author showed us how each couple are still over the moon with each other, and how some other couples started to develop. it was cute XD I can't help repeating myself cause it's the only word that comes to mind ^^

Ruining Mr. Perfect (The McCauley Brothers, #3) By Marie Harte

Ruining Mr. Perfect (The McCauley Brothers, #3)Ruining Mr. Perfect by Marie Harte
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Well I have to say it was good but not my favorite, it was the first that had multiple couples.

- The hero and heroine were too much alike yet they had their differences, like the heroine she looked to me that she had something in common with Brody the hero f the previous book, and that is when in a fix they prefer to deal with it on their own and this happened a lot in this book, were she either avoid the hero or ask for some space.

- Believe it or not I liked the parents part more than the main couple, yeah the beginning wasn't that sunny, but with the progress it took I just looked forward to the next part they will be mentioned. Loved the jealousy, the date, and everything.

- Loved the Del parts can't wait to read the next book, I liked her family especially her dad.

- I think the reason I didn't like this book too much is that it has too much baggage, like the emotional parts the misunderstandings, the lack of communication,

- This is the first book that makes me remember that some books teach you a certain morale, and for this one the morale was communication, nothing gets across or accomplished if there was none.

- And don't let me start with the epilogue, it was AMAZING!! just hilarious XD it left me tingly with anticipation for the next book ^^

When a Texan Gambles (Wife Lottery, #2) By Jodi Thomas

When a Texan Gambles (Wife Lottery, #2)When a Texan Gambles by Jodi Thomas
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It took me a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong while to finish this book, since I was preoccupied with life stuff, but now I'm back.
And to tell the truth I didn't like this book much, even though I was looking forward t it. It just I hate when people judge the other person based on nothing and they just make up assumptions about them and this book is full of it, and all is toward the hero. Poor poor Sam.

- Liked the hero, he had a good combination of ignorance and knowledge, unlike the previous hero, that guy was just like a child so cute and clueless, this one had experience but not the kind that's aimed toward gentle ladies, so it was cute to see how he would act.

- The heroine was brave and had gumption, she certainly pulled her shit together, and got herself from bad situation with the hero, but the only thing I hated abut her how she kept making assumptions about the hero. For god sakes the guy was unconscious why does she keeps talking to him and asking him questions that he can't answer since he is unconscious. Plus I hated all the rules, the you can/you can't it was the same issue I had with the first book, you ladies need to make up your minds!

- I liked how the hero is all heroic and kind but doesn't anyone to know, in a way its cute.

- I liked how the heroine way all touchy-feely with the hero, even in front of people in a way she improved his low self-esteem XD
