Tallie's Knight by Anne Gracie
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Well.. This was a bit different. Honestly I expected more, it forced me to do plenty of skimming, but it wasn't that bad, just not Anne Gracie's usual.
The reason I didn't enjoy this story as much as the rest was because it contained a lot of unnecessary description and monologue, and how mull-headed both the hero and heroine were, they just kept of creating a misunderstanding after another, kept missing the point, and kept on miscommunication, to a degree that even I thought it was hopeless. And that bitch of a cousin they had, I just wanted to strangle the black-heart bitch.
Nonetheless, the story had its own appeal as well, it's been a long time since I read about such a jealous husband, and how they were cute together when they actually *FINALLY!!* had some kind if communication going on between them, but the how the heroine misjudged him kinda pissed me off. I know it's understandable since he's an earl and all, but to keep deciding on your own how he will think is just selfish and arrogant. And oh the measuring he took to prove her wrong was just... *sigh*
- loved the heroine in the bandits scene and after XD
Overall, *thumps up*
