A MacKenzie Clan Gathering (MacKenzies & McBrides, #8.5) By Jennifer Ashley

A MacKenzie Clan Gathering (MacKenzies & McBrides, #8.5)A MacKenzie Clan Gathering by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

To read something from Ian's point of view was such a lovely experience that I missed terribly. I've read his book and reread it like 3 times now but to have a new scene is exciting.

I loved when Ian was depicted in the others books, there through their eyes we saw how they thought and felt about him, how he showered Beth with his love and it was lovely too, especially since he's adored by all the family females which makes the men jealous XD

- The thing I loved most of all here it showed us how all of them are even after 10 yrs all of the Mackenzies with their wives and children and the MacBrides as well.

- I love Ian's inner thought and how his minds work and his deep deep feelings for Beth his love for her truly to me surpasses any legends or love stories because it shows how deep and real they are.

- I also love how Beth is so sweet and gentle but if anyone dares even for a millisecond to do or insult her husband she turns into a fierce avenging angel that will slaughter anyone if they so dares to cause him discomfort and I love that very much, because here too it shows that Ian's deep feelings aren't one sided because Beth's are as deep as his.

- I love reading about this couple and I think Jennifer Ashely did great by choosing them as an opening to her series

- I loved the scenes when Ian was with his children, and he's the cutest when he's with his youngest Megan because he always hugs her, and as a reader and huge fan of Ian's I've known how deeply Ingrained his disliked to be touched yet he always hugs her XD

- Many scenes in this book caused me to tear up, the part when Ian was distressed, when he disappeared I intensely felt Beth's fear, when their son got kidnapped I started truly crying because of Ian's deep anguish.

- I disliked Beth's previous brother in law when he came to visit on sight, not because of anything just of the principle of Ian disliking him as well XD I continued to dislike him even when Ian began to like him because he made Ian remember because he in a way used Ian as a lab rat. But alter on especially when he was in England with Ian Then I started to like him XD

- I liked when scenes and parts about Malcolm and Mary were mentioned in this book, especially when they informed us about their happy life with their so. And grandson XD it's always an enjoyment to me to read about previous couples

Overall, *thumps up*

The Stolen Mackenzie Bride (MacKenzies & McBrides, #8) By Jennifer Ashley

The Stolen Mackenzie Bride (MacKenzies & McBrides, #8)The Stolen Mackenzie Bride by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Since it was kinda like a standalone I thought of ignoring this book but with time I got curious about their unruly great great grandfather

At times I couldn't keep it down at others it was hard to continue cause unlike all the previous books this one was intense since the timeline of the events were during a rebellion, after intense efforts to hold back the tears and taking some minutes of break so I can not cry I still couldn't help myself (at least no one noticed at work)

- I loved the hero not just from the beginning or since the middle of the book or in certain scenes he was phenomenal throughout the whole thing and so so reliable and heart wrenching.

- The heroine was brave since she she helped her sister and from then on oh that girl was made of such strong metal that I'm envying so bad.

- I "almost" cried on the most emotional moments of the books which sadly had a lot like when they learned about his brother and especially how each of them grieved, specially the twin and the father. Then when it was time for the other brother it was so sad.

- I liked everytime the hero came to the heroine those two had went through a lot together and they deserved to be happy.

- The reunion in Paris was a good scene it brought happiness and love and I was glad of the ending, and for a time I wondered if their son is the father of the Mackenzies we know since he was a horrible man and a father I bet he was a terrible son so I didn't wish him upon those two and then I remembered that her was the great great grandfather so thankfully he wasn't and I don't think their time coincides either XD

Scandal And The Duchess (MacKenzies & McBrides, #6.5) By Jennifer Ashley

Scandal And The Duchess (MacKenzies & McBrides, #6.5)Scandal And The Duchess by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I delayed reading this book for months if not a year, since from the discribtion I didn't think it was ecourageable.

I honestly thought that since in the discribtion it said the she was a young widow and they were seen in a scandalous moment, that she wouldn't get along with him at first because he would ruin her reputation or something. And how wrong I was.

- The heroine was very sweet and kind, personally I wouldn't be ok with a drunken guy stumbling across me and landing on me in the night and be ok with it when he hugs me, personally I will be freaking out since he's a stranger, he's a guy, and he's a drunk. But no the heroine was very calm and kind to him and even took him with her in the carriage to take care of him and even brought him breakfast in the morning.

- Steven our hero, since the beginning was very infatuated with the heroine, and all what was happening gave him to excuse to stick close to her XD

- I liked the parts where the other members of the family were included especially Ian, since even here his love for Beth was very evident, I really like their appearances in other books because it gives us a glimpse of how others view Ian and even to them it shows how he loves Beth and his family and how smart he is XD

- I liked how steven took care of Rose and stuck with her throughout the whole thing.

Rules for a Proper Governess (Highland Pleasures, #7) By Jennifer Ashley

Rules for a Proper Governess (Highland Pleasures, #7)Rules for a Proper Governess by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thoroughly loved it. As expected from the amazing Jennifer Ashley.

Since Sinclair was introduced I was curious about him since single parents is one of my favorite sub-genres. And I have to say I loved Bertie she was so spunky and sassy, bold, courageous and forthright, she was the whole package.

- As the author kept mentioning in the book I just couldn't help but love Andrew.

- About Cat, I just couldn't understand why she in a way didn't trust her dad, couple of times when he extends his hand for her she ignores him and reach out for Bertie, this thing I just couldn't understand, and nearing the end she was on good terms with him.

- I loved the scenes where the Mackenzies were in, and oh when Ian made his appearance I swear I think I heard fireworks in my head XD It was like I was screaming it's Ian XD

- I loved how each male noticed how Ian is only comfortable with females and how they think it's crafty of him, having only their wives approach him not even his brothers can get that close without precautions

- I was happy when he finally stopped resisting and went to her, I was happy that he didn't deny his feelings for her, I was happy when she made him happy, because as far as he was introduced he was always so sullen.

Overall, *thumps up* and I can't wait for the next book and short story, I just can't get enough of this big family

The Wicked Deeds of Daniel Mackenzie (MacKenzies & McBrides, #6) By Jennifer Ashley

The Wicked Deeds of Daniel Mackenzie (MacKenzies & McBrides, #6)The Wicked Deeds of Daniel Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved it!
Daniel was adorable in this book as all the Mackenzie's XD
Loved violet and I really felt sorry for her, no women or person should go through what she suffered. And along side her I'm really thankful for Daniel being in her life.
It really touching me at the ending when she said that violet was just a being eating sleeping walking but not alive, but when Daniel showed up in her life she can breath she's alive.
Kinda hated her mom, no matter how she feels she's still a mother who is supposed to look after her children not the other way around, she was so self indulged in herself to the degree that she didn't realize that violet was suffering or have been suffering for over 10 years.
Loved the part when violet meets the other Mackenzie's and gets to know them, and I noticed a pattern here after the first book "The madness of lord Ian Mackenzie" Ian started to help the rest directly or indirectly in there live matches, kinda like a match maker XD
And plus fellows also appear at the ending of each book to make an arrest or something, these were the two patterns I noticed in this series and I love it.
I know I keep saying I love it to all my books but I can't help it I just do, and I can't read a book unless I'm interested in it so I know I'm gonna love it.
Overall great book and I can't wait for the next "Rules for a proper governess"

The Untamed MacKenzie (MacKenzies & McBrides, #5.5) By Jennifer Ashley

The Untamed MacKenzie (MacKenzies & McBrides, #5.5)The Untamed MacKenzie by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This novella was adorable specially from the middle to the ending.
I loved how both of them were so in love and they instantly accept each other's feelings and circumstances without the usual denial.
What I specially liked is how both of them
Had this kind of invisible yet obvious connection with Ian. And OF COURSE Ian as usual was adorable specially at the ending XD
And Lloyd kinda pissed me off with the bastard thing and how he doesn't fit in and all, what's wrong with not fitting in, just look at Ian he's the lovelies most adorable hot character I've met yet he doesn't fit in, so why don't he just accept it like his brothers did and start bonding!!
Ok they did start but of course their progress is kinda slow cause hart told him how their asshole of a dad died and the only one who knew was his wife so it's kinda a big deal
Overall I L O V E D it!!!

The Seduction Of Elliot McBride (MacKenzies & McBrides, #5) By Jennifer Ashley

The Seduction Of Elliot McBride (MacKenzies & McBrides, #5)The Seduction Of Elliot McBride by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The book was great
I really felt sorry for Elliot, and I loved how Juliana was his dream, his reality, his secret, his salvation. With or without her knowledge.
But I hoped that there would be more scenes with more bonding between the McBrides and the Mackenzies like more scenes between Ian and Elliot cause they both suffer being the mad ones in their families though in different ways, plus kore bonding scenes between Juliana and priti cause it look shallow ok she accepted her and protected her and all but all her action spoke "she's my daughter" then girl why won't spell it out for the world to know!!!!
And what I liked most was the side love story's like the old and young couple xDDDDD
Komal x Mr. McGregor and Nanditi x Hamish
They were so cute specially the old couple XD
Overall I loved it specially the last part in the book *sparkly eyes*
Oh yeah I looooved the part where Daniel and Elliot were selling the stuff like pros XD

A Mackenzie Family Christmas: The Perfect Gift (MacKenzies & McBrides, #4.5) By Jennifer Ashley

A Mackenzie Family Christmas: The Perfect Gift (MacKenzies & McBrides, #4.5)A Mackenzie Family Christmas: The Perfect Gift by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the sort of book I love, cause even in each book they mention the epilogue and how the family live happily afterwords but still to know more about their happily ever after is priceless ^^
To me this book looked like a sequel about Ian, but who am I to mind cause Ian is the Mckenzie I love the most, I do all the brothers but Ian is special he has a way that reaches ur heart
This book kept showing how the brothers connect with each other and specially with Ian, cause he has a moment with Cam then Mac and mostly Hart. And I loved every part the Mckenzie children were mentioned they are all adorable every single one of them.
So the overall of this book in my estimation is 10 out of 5 cause it's THAT good if u r in love with the Mckenzie's

The Duke's Perfect Wife (MacKenzies & McBrides, #4) By Jennifer Ashley

The Duke's Perfect Wife (MacKenzies & McBrides, #4)The Duke's Perfect Wife by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kinda ok with it, it didn't catch my attention that much
And the main couple really pisses me off, people u were so stupid U could have been together for decades but ur stupidity and ignorance kept u apart!!
Well as usual I really liked the Ian parts, and I really noticed the special connection between hart and Ian it's so cute plus the relationship between the brothers is adorable and how hart looked to me more of a dad to them than a brother specially to Ian, cause everything he tried to do in a way involved his brothers specially Ian
And what I really liked about this series is that they prepare you for the next couple ^^ they give u glimpses and hints for the upcoming couple it's kinda cute too
But I kinda was disappointed that this Mckenzie didn't have this specially connection with his valet or secretary like his brothers, cause its nice to have a bond with someone outside of the family which make them another sort of family.
Yeah and let's not forget the epilogue XDDDDD
It was so adorable I loved the idea with the photographs, the single families and the whole family and the dogs XD

The Many Sins Of Lord Cameron (MacKenzies & McBrides, #3) By Jennifer Ashley

The Many Sins Of Lord Cameron (MacKenzies & McBrides, #3)The Many Sins Of Lord Cameron by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved it!! It was one of the books I really wanted to read in this series
I loved Cam and Ainsley, they were so cute!!
And let's not forget Daniel he was so adorable and cheeky when he kept of disturbing them XD I kinda sympathies with Cam
And like all the rest I really despised Cam's dead wife she was a true full fledged bitch!! How could she do or even think of all these monstrous stuff to her own baby, and how she tortured Cam, all I could think of everytime they mentioned her was "dude she's crazy!"
Well throughout the book Cam and Ainsley were adorable and what I liked about the author she doesn't mention the cliche problems that are mentioned in every book like cheating not trusting misunderstanding blah blah blah
I like how she showed even when every couple is even fighting with one another they still trust each other not believing what other people say

Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage (MacKenzies & McBrides, #2) By Jennifer Ashley

Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage (MacKenzies & McBrides, #2)Lady Isabella's Scandalous Marriage by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

At first I was reluctant to read it cause I thought the story kinda normal not like Ian's THAT was one hell of a story!!!
But I really liked it, it wasn't like what I expected and I really felt sorry for Mac and Isabella but specially Mac. Isabella kinda pissed me off, ok I know she suffered but dude the man changed and he's doing everything to get u back why can't u get it through ur skull, and in moments she gives him false hopes, in others she rejects him completely but dude u are the one who's doing most of the seducing!!
I really liked the Ian and Beth scenes it's like watching one of ur kids being happy cause I really understood Ian's brothers I wanted him to be happy too and to stay happy. And it shows how much these siblings care about each other no matter what the problem is one of them is always there.
Plus I noticed the deep connection every sibling have with his valet, like how Mac said he worshiped Bellamy and how Ian depends on his upon everything, it might be cause they choose them personally from the gutters or something, it shows how the valets are specially loyal to them and they don't care about consequences if they defied them if it was for their masters best interest.
That's why these kind if books that doesn't solely concentrate of the love aspect but show glimpses of bonding between people really touches the heart

The Madness Of Lord Ian MacKenzie (MacKenzies & McBrides, #1) By Jennifer Ashley

The Madness Of Lord Ian MacKenzie (MacKenzies & McBrides, #1)The Madness Of Lord Ian MacKenzie by Jennifer Ashley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

LOVED IT!!!
Personally I loved Ian he's so adorable and totally not mad he's behavior is understandable and I kinda hated hart cause he was acting like such a big ass for most of the book... Well tell they neared the ending then he's the doting misunderstood brother even though they made kinda obvious yet not direct that he has SM tendencies
Overall it's a great book and really helped over here cause the books I have been reading recently though they r awesome they had boring parts cause the writing focused on meaningless details, and this book fitted my preference perfectly
