The Spring Bride (Chance Sisters, #3) By Anne Gracie

The Spring Bride (Chance Sisters, #3)The Spring Bride by Anne Gracie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finally!! ^^ I waited a long time for this book, ans when I saw a GR friend currently reading it for an instant I could believe it then I found the book too ^^

I had conflicted feelings toward the heroine in here, for a second I didn't liked her, then I was siding with her, back and forth my feelings went throughout the book, till is settled siding with her at the end. First I have t say she's my least favorite of the Chance sisters, the others have more background, like Abby she was the one who took care of all of them and got them to where they are, Damaris was the other kidnapped girl but who had a knowledge of herbs and a mysterious past, Daisy was the maid of the whorehouse who helped getting them away. But Jane was the beautiful one and kind heart nothing else. At first I didn't like tat she was getting married for materialistic reasons, which obviously didn't help in my view of her, but the thing that started improving her position in my eyes was her meeting with the hero in the alley.

I liked how kind she was, to the animals and people, it was obvious she has a soft heart, but her insistence of having enough money to secure her and her kids future was a bit much. Slowly but surely she saw the flaws in her betrothed, when he said that the dog should die cause he's ugly, when he told her to leave the old lady alone because other people were there, when he was scared for his reputation because she was seen talking to a man with Shabby clothes, and when nearing the end of the book with the final straw he pulled she finally saw reason, Smart girl XD

The hero was nice but I think cute more appropriate, not in looks but behavior. He was the flippant devil may care kind of guy, didn't care about the risk, just wanted to enjoy the moment, but then he clipped his eyes on her and everything changed for him. He wasn't like any of Anne Gracie's heros I have ever read so far, first he wanted to talk to her, then get to know her, then when he discovered that she was betrothed he wanted her permanently, I think his love for her was the fast paced kind, everything went so fast for them. Plus he never lied to her, other than what she might presumed about him depending on his clothes, but he even told her his true occupation. I loved how the people who've known him 12 yrs ago believed in him and had his back, if I was in his place I would have cried shamelessly at court just for the fact that those people believed in him and came over to have his back.

- I liked the hero's interactions with William, I literally laughed so loud that my family thought me crazy.

- I love Lady Bea she's so funny and endearing.

- I loved the hero's interactions with his friend Gil and Jane's family especially his meeting with Lady Bea

- I loved the interactions between the sisters, there wasn't much like the first two books, other than with Jane-Abby and Jane-Daisy.

- I felt bad for Daisy, I noticed throughout the whole book, where Lady Bea pushes her to d something and learn something, but all what Daisy is doing is work, plus I know the next book would be about her, since she's the only remaining Chance sister, but I truly hope she would end up with Flynn, they seemed cute together.

This is one the only short story by the amazing Anne Gracie, and you people already know or don't know yet, I LOVE Anne Gracie and all her books.

This story was no different, it was interesting, entertaining and lovely, it had lots of promise but regretfully it was too short, both in the story and out, for it was plenty eventful for just one day. Yeah pretty eventful I can't imagine myself in the Heroine's place no matter how I try it XD

It was such a short enjoyable read ^^

This time my review would be much simpler and shorter than usual, because all I can say I loved all the characters, events, and specially princess Amy. I was happy for Ellie and Amy especially the whole thing after he and back was simply heartwarming and the grandma oh how Amy loved her.

Tallie's Knight By Anne Gracie

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Well.. This was a bit different. Honestly I expected more, it forced me to do plenty of skimming, but it wasn't that bad, just not Anne Gracie's usual.

The reason I didn't enjoy this story as much as the rest was because it contained a lot of unnecessary description and monologue, and how mull-headed both the hero and heroine were, they just kept of creating a misunderstanding after another, kept missing the point, and kept on miscommunication, to a degree that even I thought it was hopeless. And that bitch of a cousin they had, I just wanted to strangle the black-heart bitch.

Nonetheless, the story had its own appeal as well, it's been a long time since I read about such a jealous husband, and how they were cute together when they actually *FINALLY!!* had some kind if communication going on between them, but the how the heroine misjudged him kinda pissed me off. I know it's understandable since he's an earl and all, but to keep deciding on your own how he will think is just selfish and arrogant. And oh the measuring he took to prove her wrong was just... *sigh*

- loved the heroine in the bandits scene and after XD

Gallant Waif By Anne Gracie

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It seems a recent affliction of mine to shower Anne Gracie with compliments without any ounce of restrains, well she deserves every word; because she done me proud again with yet another wonderful book.

To point something, this is my first time counting how many times I cried whole reading a book, in this one I cried 3 time!! They might not be the heat wrenching sobs that some book made experience, but they left their print.

I felt bad for bad for both the hero and heroine, but the girl more so and all my bouts of tears were because of her. The hero was the grieving self loathing type, just cause a bitch of a fiancée left him for war scars and he's broke he became a loner, but not for very long *smirk*.

I cried for Kate first when at the beginning when she told the old lady her past and her issue, but what made me cry the most when her past got revealed in the middle of dance and everyone deserted her leaving her in the spotlights throwing insults at her, and then Jack *sigh* shows up makes her dance with her, then his friends take turn, then the soldiers she saved before and more and more, even the old influential ladies showed up and their war hero Lord Wellington. Totally like her, that excessive show of kindness made me weep. And Ooh how beautifully it was painted.

But what made this a more delightful light read was their constant banter, it reminded me of a couple in book 3 of the Dragon Kin series by G.A.Aiken, where the audience called their usual fights is their own way of flirting and foreplay XD

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Great book. It's my first from this series and this author. I know I started by the first book, but I shall fix it and go back to the first.

Anyway, I hesitated a bit at the beginning, even though the book was amazing and interesting, I get so in to the events and the characters, that's why I felt really bad for Bella most of the time. People made her feel awkward, ugly and insignificant. She never believed that she can be pretty, and I feared no matter how many times Luke tried she wont believe him. but then another thing showed up, Luke's attitude toward her at the beginning, the thing when he kept n saying he wont be controlled by a woman again, and the such.

However, they were so cute, when they were fighting, specially when she keeps on hitting him, and personally I thought it was a funny touch from the author with the sidesaddle XD. Plus how Luke's attitude changed at the ending, how lighthearted he became, and how the whole family and friends welcomed her, specially the mom. And I loved the grandparents at the end.

Overall, as usual great book *thumps up*

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

At the beginning I thought the story a bit predictable s I wasn't that much excited about it, but I liked being slapped in the face with a great book. XD

In this book I loved Maddy more than Nash, here Nash messed plenty of opportunities with the wrong words. And Maddy had really proved herself as someone who wont take charity from anyone if it was solely for her, all her decision were based on the kids.

The scenes I loved in this book were the one's Nash had with the children, specially Lucy, because it was heartwarming at all the time I was "aah and ooh". I loved the parts were Maddy showed everyone what she though, first Nash, then Marcus, then Aunt Maude. And did I mention before how much I loved Aunt Maude, every time she appearance she bring a lightheartedness to the scene, like at the church, when she kept complimenting Maddy and backing her up, and specially at the wedding party when she told Nash "you can thank me later" that whole conversation was hilarious.

Now since I finished this book, I finished the Devil Riders series, cause I read the fifth book before the other. And can I say again and again overall I just love it and *thumps up*

To Catch a Bride (Devil Riders, #3) By Anne Gracie

To Catch a Bride (Devil Riders, #3)To Catch a Bride by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is one hell of an interesting story ^^.As always I loved the book, not surprising from Anne Gracie.

Mostly I loved Ayisha, she was a most beloved heroin, brave, bold, fierce, loyal, and totally in love, but mostly I felt sorry for her and proud of her how she stod up to evrything and accepted every bit of a problem. And Rafe was amazing too, but like some of the reviews I read he was a total thick-head when it came to talking with Ayisha, he always fund the wrong thing t say. At least he fixed that problem at the end. But I kinda sympathizes with him at the beginning, cause I knew how it feels, when your family decides everything without even your knowledge are your obviously expected to succumb to their orders.

There is one thing that matched a book in this series, its when she came to save him from the pirates, how he felt after that, was like the first book with Gabe and Callie. And thankfully there was a minor touch of a side love story with Laila and Baxter, though I would have loved to know more about them, or it would have been perfect if they were at her wedding.

Loved the scene when she called him a pervert XD. The cat on Rafe's chest while threatening wake Ayisha up. The sleeping arrangement in the cabin, floor, bed, bed floor. Yeah and of course how Higgins kept interrupting. Some of Laila's scenes were funny too, but all her scenes were good, I just loved her as a character. But I was a lot disappointed with the grandma, I expected a great heartwarming reunion, and the grandma embracing her without caring that shes illegitimate not disgracing her right away. Like Rafe I was a bit shocked about his brother and all, kinda like how Harry Was with Marcus unexpected acceptance in the previous book.

His Captive Lady (Devil Riders, #2) By Anne Gracie

His Captive Lady (Devil Riders, #2)His Captive Lady by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Is it a surprise that I still keep on saying the same thing?...No, so of course I'm gonna say I loved it.

Harry was an amazing hero, with all his cute persistence toward Nell, how he accepted everything about her, how he felt broken every time he say her hurting, simply he was great in every aspect.

Nell was a cute heroin in her small way, most of the story she was grieving, worried and scared. but she had her cute moments as well, like when she arrived at the doorstep of Harry's aunt house and the butler opened the door, and she was acting all normal and stuff it was hilarious.

I noticed couple of things in this story:

1- Both the main characters broke my heart, I have to say that Nell's situation wasn't something easy or ignored and its certainly heartbreaking, but truthfully Harry is the one I felt sorry for most. For the big picture, he showed he wasn't loved, wasn't wanted and stuff.

2- There is a kind of repetition from the first book, like when the heroin is already in love with the her then a character comes and saying the hero doesn't get it cause he didn't keep his promise to you, this happened to both brothers.

3- And of course I loved the side story, Tippy was cute, and Ethan was really... how do I say..chivalrous, and maybe I didn't like the scene with the masks, but I liked the Conversation that happened between them when they left.

4- Loved the scene at the end with Harry taking care of Torie, dressing her, bathing her, and feeding her, specially when she was about to cry he said it was blackmail, it was the most adorable thing ever, all his scenes with Torie where adorable, and his scene wit her and Marcus, in a way it was nice.

5- Oh yeah, also his scene at the fight when Harry said "brothers" that really gt to me, but also it made me laugh when they said that Nash tried to protect Harry by pushing him behind him, "which disgusted Harry" I kept on flipping side ways on my bed laughing, Harry was disgusted with the brotherly act XD

6- I felt really bad for Aunt Maude, and she really got to me, if it was left to the women in her family or even the men will acknowledge it, she is the embodiment of women's strength.

I guess that's all so far XD so overall *thumps up*

The Stolen Princess (Devil Riders, #1) By Anne Gracie

The Stolen Princess (Devil Riders, #1)The Stolen Princess by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What can I say except that it was a wonderful read, okay my reviews can be a bit annoying a biased cause all of them are positive, and again what can I say I cant read something I know I wont like.

the story in itself was great, and as always the single parent sub-genre is always a welcome, my favorite character is the hero,Gabe, and the boy, Nicky. Gabe was an amazing hero in the story, you know the type of guy who flirts and is sweet and considerate and honest, and overall cute. Nicky was a cute character, I loved how the author pictured him as a brave young thing and how he transformed under the care of Gabe and his friends, and how he felt overly protective of his friend.

The heroin was another matter, I'm not saying I didn't like her, I did. But honestly she frustrated me a bit on certain points. taking in to consideration that shes running away to save her son from assassination, she could at least accept some help. OK I know she didn't want to trouble them or hurt them, still she was very very stubborn. and how she felt inferior all the time, on how he will never love her, and for god sake women can you leave the chess maneuvers alone and just get on with your life!!

Not to the side parts, I always welcome side love stories, and that's why I loved the almost development of the older couple, but what made me feel bad for them is how everyone is like, it wont progress any further and stuff, but I'm crossing my fingers on maybe they will be mentioned in the later books of the series. The book was a funny adorable and a quick read of a book

Overall *thumps up*, and this series is showing a great promise.

The Winter Bride (Chance Sisters, #2) By Anne Gracie

The Winter Bride (Chance Sisters, #2)The Winter Bride by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Damaris and Freddie's story was cute and heart warming, and funny due to Freddie of course. These two were at the beginning looked to be a bit mismatched, him being te obviously notorious rake, and her being the quiet and cool innocent.

Damaris was the quiet shy type to me from book 1, she was the only one who her past was clouded in shadows, I mean her days before the brothel. I felt sorry for her, I knew her reason for not wanting to get married was because she wasn't a virgin anymore, but she didn't say how. But later after knowing the reason I wanted to cry for her, and I understood what she meant when she said, being taken to the brothel was the best thing that happened to her because she ended up meeting her sisters, and the reason for that is because what happened later was all good and joyful.

Freddie was an actor, he kept a facade for too long that he sometimes was unconscious of it, because it was instinctive. He lived in heartache most of him life, The first 12 yrs of his life he was ignored by him parents, and the next 16 yrs he was shunned and blamed for the accidental death of his brother. That's why to avoid all the pain he pretended to be the nonchalant devil may-care rake, but his parents still treated him horridly and I loved Damaris all the more for her outburst, she sure as hell showed them.

- To tell the truth I was more interested in Daisy, I sense their might going to be something between her and Flin, but who knows, and I think there is more to her than the former maid servant- would be dressmaker.

- I loved how Damaris said that Abby was more than a sister to her, and I was shocked when she made her, her maid of honor since I obviously thought it would be Jane. But I liked it more that way to be honest.

- Freddie do look elegant and non-muscle type but Damaris should give him a bit of credit and trust, every time she thing him harmless and can't fight his way out of things, which at the end was obviously false. though it is a bit amusing, especially when the sent William at the end, and he saw that Freddie knocked that guy unconscious William was regretful XD

- Aunt Bea is the most adorable character in the whole series, I liked her moments with Freddie at the beginning, I kept laughing and chuckling the whole time, she a tiny she-devil XD

- Another reason I like Anne Gracie is her mentions of other characters, even small ones, like Featherby and William, I loved when she said they were giving Damaris Fatherly smiles and congratulations (Even though I thought William was younger, maybe as a brother figure not as a father) and how Featherby was happy when he saw Abby and Damaris at the end, he is just so wonderfully resourceful too, the perfect butler for Aunt Bea

Overall, *Thumps up* now I just to have to wait for the next release of the series T^T

The Autumn Bride (Chance Sisters, #1) By Anne Gracie

The Autumn Bride (Chance Sisters, #1)The Autumn Bride by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm back to the amazing Anne Gracie, How I missed her books, they are all amusing, touching, and lovely. I've been delaying this series for a while now, because it is still ongoing, but I could wait no longer.

Abby was the serious responsible elder sister type, she always cared for people and took care of them, it's not that just because she's forced in to it, but because she cares about them that she takes all the trouble without a word of complain. She's caring and lovely, I loved how she was fiercely loyal to her sisters and Lady Bea, even though she is only blood related to one sister, she and all her sisters including the aunt established a family of sorts that (it might sound silly) are united in both pleasure and adversary. She takes care of a lot of people thus gains their loyalty like the butler Featherby and the footman William, I like that about all Anne Gracie's characters, she makes then more emotionally attached to each other, main and supportive characters alike.

Max was a commitment kind of person, I hated him at first when he came in to the house charging on like a raging bull, but it was understandable all the facts he received so far confused him, but it was good that things were put in to rights straight away. When I said he was a commitment type of a guy, I meant that to him a promise made is a promise kept, no zig zaging or any of the sort, which was for a while terribly annoying, especially even when he wanted a way out of it. I absolutely wanted to be Abby at the scene after her runaway with her sisters at the end, and him coming after them, and then without even saying Hello kissing her in the middle of the street providing passerby a show to ogle and her sisters a first raw seat at that XD

Overall, *thumps up* and I expected no less ;)

I'm Done!! ^^

I have to say I must be in love with Anne Gracie by now, cause as far as I've read there hasn't been a book of her I haven't loved XD

Grace and Dominic *sigh*, well I have to say that Dominic was kinda of the lusty type, he didn't miss any single chance! But the idea of him gladly cheating on a wife, common!! It was logical and I'm glad that Grace kept fighting back the idea of a mistress, because he didn't think of her, imagine being the mistress of your best friends husband. But I'm glad everything worked out, even if the mull-headed father was bloody stubborn throughout the story which left four people utterly in despair. And like Dominic I was a bit annoyed that the people were more open to her than him, he didn't do anything bad to them to be so completely fearful.

- Loved the Harem scene, and I was kinda in a cultural point of view glad that in this book my language Arabic was viewed favorably, because in most it isn't, BTW my name was even mentioned in the harem scene XD

- Loved the Lake scene as well, it was cheeky and funny and sensual as well

- Loved truly utterly hopelessly loved the scene when she and Dominic went to her family, especially the four huge brothers-in-law, and how they stormed in to the church led by oh dear Great-Uncle Oswald, now that was priceless. Good for you Miss. Limp ^^

- I died and went to heaven for the epilogue, all of them together, for themselves and for Grace and Dominic, I bet everyone took it for granted, but only Grace and Frey knew the significant of it to Dominic.

Overall, it was a great ending for a great series, where five orphaned abused tortured girls, who found their laughter and love and sunshine and happiness, with the Men of their lives, So *10 finger+10 toes up*

The Perfect Stranger (The Merridew Sisters, #3) By Anne Gracie

The Perfect Stranger (The Merridew Sisters, #3)The Perfect Stranger by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Now with the 3rd book of The Merridew Sisters series by Anne Gracie I've literally became a sobbing mess. As usual Anne Gracie brought us yet another enchanting, humorous, and heart grasping historical romance.

I have to tell you that Faith really changed, she even described herself to Nicholas as the shy twin, and she proved it with the previous books, but with this one, she showed us her determination to change and prove herself. Usually in some books u find that half way the book a character's personality had changed without a certain reason, or that they never described the progress, but in here and with Anne Gracie's words it was different, my pillow was socking wet at the part when they were gonna part and when they were united, and it was the first time for me to cry while reading a sex scene, still it broke my heart.

Nicholas too was the type that Anne Gracie seems to relish to write about and the type I slaver for, the typical tortured guy, and his motives to distance himself from Faith right from the beginning were plain obvious, but the reason was the enigma.
- Loved Stevens
- Loved Mac and Estrellita feisty lusty humorous quarrels
- Loved Faith pointing a gun at the ship captain
- Adored the Epilogue

Overall, and as expected from Anne Gracie *thumps up*

The Perfect Waltz (The Merridew Sisters, #2) By Anne Gracie

The Perfect Waltz (The Merridew Sisters, #2)The Perfect Waltz by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As expected Anne Gracie has outdone herself again. I honestly couldn't put the book down, couldn't stop reading. She visualized her characters and story in ways that makes the readers believe of the existence of her characters, and even become envious of them.

Especially when there is a dark tormented hulk of a guy in the picture, and from what I have read of her stories so far, they are in abundance. And her talent shows when each tormented hero, as his own dark past that makes him so vastly different than the other guy. her characters as depth in them and glow that I still cant express how they effect me.

I loved Hope, from the prequel book The Perfect Rake I thought her childish and not that tormented like Prudence, but I was vastly mistaken, she is the type that disguises her pain with a smile, and live life to the fullest, and I cant blame Sebastian when he always thought that she glowed.

My heart went out completely to Sebastian, how he's vastly misunderstood, how his sisters treated him at the beginning, and his labored past. But oh how Hope changed his life, She made him valued, she made him connect with his sisters, and how they slowly leaned in to him for support made me cry every time.

Last thing, I loved the ending, to me it was the perfect kind to Sebastian and his sisters, and the Appearance of Gideon and his humor was endearing, and how much I couldn't stop laughing at the epilogue, Giles was hilarious.

Overall, *thumps up* and its a Must to read Anne Gracie, she's becoming on my top favorite authors list.

The Perfect Rake (The Merridew Sisters, #1) By Anne Gracie

The Perfect Rake (The Merridew Sisters, #1)The Perfect Rake by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ok now I have seriously been turned in to mush, Anne Gracie wrote a splendid book, full of heartwarming laughter, mischievous ploys, adventurous trips, and one gallant rake.

I cant describe to you how much I loved the book. Of course the first thing that happened that I sympathized with the girls, and how a sick bastard was their grandfather.

- I Loved when Great-uncle Oswald welcomed them with open arms, how they instantly felt the grand contrast between him and his brother. Even with his well-meant compliments, I felt he was a bit insensitive toward Prue when he kept comparing her to her sisters, still I loved him.

- Gideon was the bestowed of smiles and laughs throughout the book, since his first appearance he played the smart-witted-funny-guy, and I loved truly loved how he treated Prue, when to everyone she was the Plain Jane of the flock, to him she was the glittering diamond, and that what made my heart flutter for him.

- Yeah and I musn't forget that Otterbury no he deserves to be asshole Otterskank. And well done great-uncle Oswald ;)

- Even all the girls were severely bullied and beaten by their grandfather, even 10 yrs old Grace, but as expected Prue was the one that broke hearts, just the mention of how her grandfather beating her almost to death just to miscarriage her baby made feel so sick and revolted that I wished that I would kill the bastard myself.

- Loved how James and Lily the servants were loyal to prue and the girls, and how Prue took care of them as if they were family, especially I loved the scene were James barged into the Party with a wounded head barely conscious and how he babbled to Gideon to save Prue and told him all the details he needed to know.

Overall, *10 fingers up* ^^
