New Leaf (Mystic Creek, #2) By Catherine Anderson

New Leaf (Mystic Creek, #2)New Leaf by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Catherine Anderson is one of my favorite authors, I always go to her when I feel for a need for a good happy story with cute parts and gentle kind hero's.

The first Mystic Creek book is one of my favorite books and I've read it over 3 times already XD and knowing that there would be a series just made my day ^^

This second book wasn't a disappointment but I need to be honest and say I still favor the first book.

- The way the story began was very interesting with the heroine having a secret and the hero is oblivious about it and then bam! Everything starts to unfold.

- I liked when the hero decided to help her and how all his family backed them up, I honestly thought that his parents were planning to make the thing between them permanent not just temporary XD

- And OMG when they introduced her daughter I was shell-shocked, I always have known that children and extremely impressionable, having nieces and nephews myself but seeing to which degree this child witnessed wrong behavior was very shocking indeed.

- I felt very sad when the daughter was very against the hero since the beginning but I like how they developed and ended up being very much satisfied actually XD

I felt the ending was very abrupt and I would have loved an epilogue but I liked that it was a happy cute ending ^^

Walking On Air (Valance Family, #1) by Catherine Anderson

Walking On Air (Valance Family, #1)Walking On Air by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First I want to say I sooooooo envied the characters. As Expected of Catherine Anderson, her stories are so lovely I keep on either grinning like a fool or sighing like a lovesick pup.

This stories was a bit different than her usual, I'm not saying she doesn't go toward fantasy, she does. But this time it contained more, with the angles and the ghost.

The Hero was my most favorite thing in this book, he was so compelling that I couldn't just stand there and not like him. I just liked how honest, kind, caring, and loving he was. Ho he interacted with Nan and the kids, the dog and the old man. I loved the make shift family they made together, and that's what I envied them, I always imagined myself with strangers with no blood ties but who are a family in all the right ways.

- Since this is a series I'm a bit curious about the sequel, like who would it be about? Is it the boy, the girl or someone else?

- I liked the angel Gabriel, how Gabe made the impression that he thought of him as a friend.

Overall, *thumps up* it's a great book, adorable, funny and enchanting. And sorry for the short review, I'm too sleepy to write or think.

Silver Thaw (Mystic Creek, #1) By Catherine Anderson

Silver Thaw (Mystic Creek, #1)Silver Thaw by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It has been a while since I read a new story by Catherine Anderson, and really what a book.

One of the things I love about Catherine Anderson is her heroes. They are so gentle and kind, practically life-savers, and this book was n different, I loved Jeb he was everything a woman wanted a man to be, and instant melting of his heart toward the little girl was a huge bonus to his character. I loved the moments when he discovered that he had a mother complex XD and when he called a part of his anatomy George XD, these were my most memorable scenes in this book based on Humor. But all his scenes with Chloe were my favorite, also when he introduced them to his family and then we had plenty of family scenes, I just love family scenes.

Amanda was like the rest of CA's Heroines, she was in pain, in bondage, in torture, and her hero became her savior literally and emotionally. I'm afraid to say cases like Amanda's really do happen in real life, but seldom they end with someone like Jeb, which to me symbolize a soothing palm to a tortured soul. Jeb was my favorite character in this book, that's why I don't have much to say about Amanda, everything about her was true and to be expected, her anxieties, her fear of men at first, her reluctance toward intimacy, the only thing I can say I'm glad Jeb found her.

Many good things happened in this book, and it honestly taught me that in some cases by meeting even one person, that meeting can change your whole life completely

Overall, *thumps up*.

Coming Up Roses By Catherine Anderson

Coming Up Roses Coming Up Roses by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

All I can say or do is *thumps up*
Catherine Anderson yet with another amazing book, took me to a world filled with affections and love and happy ever after.
I really adored this book, even thought it had heartbreaking moments. I especially loved the attachment that Mandy developed toward Zach. And how he responded to her feelings of attachment with the same intensity. That's why I always say single parent love book is a shipper, and its one of my favorite sub-genres.
and I noticed a pattern here, so far I finished 3 of Catherine Anderson books, and I noticed all the men, are the kind patient type, who wait for the women to open up t them. I'm not against it, in fact I find it so sweet to find men like these but alas...
So I loved the book, loved the main guy, loved the kid, and loved the relationship he developed with the family, and how he was the first man who gained heir trust.
There were plenty of cute scenes specially the ones involves Mandy XD.

Annie's Song By Catherine Anderson

Annie's SongAnnie's Song by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just finished Annie's Song by Catherine Andersonand I'd like to say its Phenomenal!!! its seriously amazing.
For one thing I really loved the book so I'm starting to get interested in the author.
and another thing that there wasn't a single thing in the book that I hated, maybe except all the misunderstanding that's happening, starting from her fear of him even after months she still feared him, but its understandable since she's deaf and neglected.
nearing the end I was this close to tears, I tried my best to hold the tears back cause I was in public, but if I wasn't I know I would have cried floods, cause the ending is That emotional.
the main characters were the most adorable especially the main guy, cause he was heart wrenchingly kind, and how patient and sweet he was with her, and when he showered her with his love with the gifts how happy he looked to me from the books, because the writer described his behavior and his as if I really can see him, and I just have to say that hes now one of my favorite male characters ever, so for me its a *thumps up*

Only By Your Touch By Catherine Anderson

Only By Your TouchOnly By Your Touch by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was one of the most heartwarming books I have ever read, since I read the book summary I knew I would love it, and my gut is always right.

I loved both Chloe and Ben, and of course Jeremy, and Diablo XD (I'm a wolf biased), the way both people where in love with each other but had their own different reasons to be fearful kinda clench at my heart, specially Ben... His ex wife was a bitch honestly, just cause their is something that you can't explain or file and catalogue doesn't mean he's a freak.

Ben was the sweet kind easy to love kind of hero, and Chloe was the nervous restless single mother, and as I mentioned in other reviews I'm a hard core single parent themed lover so it's a huge bonus for me, and how Ben was children deprived and he and Jeremy instantly clicked, it was one scene I made stupid voices out loud, specially the first hug scene it was so ...*tearing up*

Anyway overall it becomes one of my most favorite books, so *thumps up* ^^

Baby Love By Catherine Anderson

Baby LoveBaby Love by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Catherine Anderson really has a way to make a book hits deep in to the heart, she writes such emotional heart wrenching/warming stories, with vivid characters, and colorful events, either their funny or angst.

One of the most things I love about her books, is that there is a common theme in them, they all relate to female issue, suffering, and heartache. And the gentles toughest protective archangels to protect the heroines, because so far from all what I have read of her books I loved every single hero.

This time as usual both sides had their difficult past, him with his dead family, her with her abusive rapist stepfather. Again what I loved in this book is that how the author visualized for us his possessiveness and protectiveness toward the heroine and her son. Plus did I also mention that I'm a dead sucker for single parent stories ^^.

One thing kinda hurt me in this book, and I felt it was dragged a bit but maybe it was understandable based on the heroine's past. It's when he kept doing everything for her and being all kind and gentle and yet she couldn't trust him, its either thinking of her body as payment or thinking he will leave her. it kinda broke my heart how hard he tried. But now when I look over it again, its perfectly reasonable, because for years the heroine was abused and raped, she couldn't trust a man's word and now a perfect stranger was becoming her champion, her prince charming, her archangel, her husband. But I loved how gentle he was with her, how he tried to spoil her.
