The Perfect Wife by Lynsay Sands
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Lynsay Sands has a great imagination and writing style, her stories are really good, but they writing isn't my type, cause in some parts of the book I couldn't help but skim a bit, it had too much description and inner talk than actual conversation.
- First, I have to say that I loved the idea of the story, the main couple, their parents especially the dads XD.
- Liked the main girl (Avy), shes the typical wonderful girl who has a crushed self-esteem in her looks, I kinda felt sorry for her for the most part of the story.
- liked the main guy (Pean), he's the typical little-words type of guy, and throughout most of the book I really tried to restrain my urge to just smack him on the head XD, he had good intentions, but he acts like an idiot.
- Dia and her aunt, since the beginning, I sensed that one of them was behind the whole "accidents" , but I admit I never knew who until the last couple of pages.
- Loved the scene when Avy totally dominates the floor in the village, and the idea of how both the pig and the kid are always following behind her XD
- Her husbands idiotic notion of COMMANDING?! his soldiers to compliment his wife! and when his dad caught him sneaking a peak at his wife showering THAT was hilarious XD
Overall, great read *thumps up*
