The Duchess War (Brothers Sinister, #1) By Courtney Milan

The Duchess War (Brothers Sinister, #1)The Duchess War by Courtney Milan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first book by Courtney Milan, and I thought it would be more dramatic and gloomy but thankfully it wasn't. I liked it.

I have to say I like Robert the best, he was so gentle and kind and cute, and I'm glad that heroine had realized how kind he was which showed she wasn't an ignorant ungrateful bitch, as a matter of fact she actually is a genius. I liked the part where he valued the people around him, his brother, cousin and freind, and especially the heroine. And as any human he had commited some wrong doings, like at the end when he exposed the heroine, in a way it hurts because after all what they've been through it felt like an eye for an eye after her deceipt.

In the heroine case I like er too, what I thought most about her was that she resisted a lot like seriously she opened up when she wasn't given any choice. Plus that she was so forgiving, I know for a genius like the hero she too did something wrong, and both what they did for each oher was like a betrayal in their minds. But at least in her case the hero figured it out quickly and the author didn't make us wait in agony for their recouncilation. The way at the edn when she solved everything I LOVED it, how she trusted the hero and went with it, how she stopped him from self-recrimination and soltitude too.

- I liked the train/freinds meeting scene the most and how Rober was so embarressed XD

Overall, *thumps up* I'm looking forward for the next one
