Baby Love By Catherine Anderson

Baby LoveBaby Love by Catherine Anderson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Catherine Anderson really has a way to make a book hits deep in to the heart, she writes such emotional heart wrenching/warming stories, with vivid characters, and colorful events, either their funny or angst.

One of the most things I love about her books, is that there is a common theme in them, they all relate to female issue, suffering, and heartache. And the gentles toughest protective archangels to protect the heroines, because so far from all what I have read of her books I loved every single hero.

This time as usual both sides had their difficult past, him with his dead family, her with her abusive rapist stepfather. Again what I loved in this book is that how the author visualized for us his possessiveness and protectiveness toward the heroine and her son. Plus did I also mention that I'm a dead sucker for single parent stories ^^.

One thing kinda hurt me in this book, and I felt it was dragged a bit but maybe it was understandable based on the heroine's past. It's when he kept doing everything for her and being all kind and gentle and yet she couldn't trust him, its either thinking of her body as payment or thinking he will leave her. it kinda broke my heart how hard he tried. But now when I look over it again, its perfectly reasonable, because for years the heroine was abused and raped, she couldn't trust a man's word and now a perfect stranger was becoming her champion, her prince charming, her archangel, her husband. But I loved how gentle he was with her, how he tried to spoil her.

Overall, *thumps up*
