Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake (Love By Numbers, #1)Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh how Wonderful the book was!! from the summary I knew it would be interesting but I didn't realize then how much exciting . Since this book is my first by Sarah MacLean, I realized that this book was a great start in getting to know a great author, it contained all the pleasures I absorb in books.

Callie was a great heroine, I kinda felt close to her, since I'm similar in behavior and body shape, which made me feel for her. She the good girl, the perfect in manners, reputation but not in the area of marriage. Men to seek her, people keep telling her that she's a spinster and she should be glad if anyone looked at her twice, which thoroughly infuriated me. Callie was a good-hearted person, but enough was enough, since shes basically far away on the miserable shelf she decided to make her stand and do what she always desired and wanted to try, which resulted in creating The List. Her love for Gabriel was so pure and deep and started with a kiss that in my opinion shock His axis.

Gabriel was a lewd gentlemanly hero, I loved him *sigh*. To me he was always misunderstood for him debauched reputation, I loved how he cared for his sister, but especially how he cared for Callie and her reputation more than she did herself. He was the best touch in the book, lewd, humorous, he gave every scene the credit it deserved. And in a very ironic twist of fate he seemed to be in the right place and time whenever Callie wanted to do one f her items on the list. What I really truly loved about him, is that he saw Callie as beautiful and he always wanted her to realize how beautiful he saw her and have more self confidence.

- I loved the parts were Callie was cross-dressing to sneak in to places, and how she always ended up with Gabriel accompanying her and escorting her back.

- I loved the side characters, especially the brothers and sisters from both sides, and I have to say I like the mistress and the dress-maker after their scene at the dress shop.

Overall, *All fingers up*
