Dream Lake by Lisa Kleypas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It was so adorable
Ok I loved Alex and specially Zoe, and the ghost idea was great and how at the end he was like the best friend that Alex needed
I kinda felt sad cause Alex couldn't connect with his brothers in the way he connected with the ghost, anyway it was a great read many adorable parts specially when Alex is with Zoe ^^

This is my second time reading this book, I just love the mean-exterior-but-all-mush-in-the-inside-hero. Alex since the beginning was mean and anti-social and gruff, but in this book I melted and fell in love with him the moment he saw Zoe the first time and ate her muffin.
As I seem to have said before the ghost theme was great, how he seemed both young and old to me at the same time, some of the things he said sounded like words of wisdom you hear from grandparents and on time he was the handsome young rascal. Oh how his emotions toward Emma were so intense and deep, that I truly felt sorry for him and loved him all the more.
Zoe and Alex were a cute couple him all surly and mean and she all petite, perky and nice. I loved how they both understood each other so well, how Zoe always saw the good in him, how he cared about her too much that at the beginning he was afraid to touch her so that he won't sully her. I just melted when he finally gave up his resistance *sigh* and definitely it was his area of expertise *snickers*
Overall, *thumps up*
