My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Now with the 3rd book of The Merridew Sisters series by Anne Gracie I've literally became a sobbing mess. As usual Anne Gracie brought us yet another enchanting, humorous, and heart grasping historical romance.
I have to tell you that Faith really changed, she even described herself to Nicholas as the shy twin, and she proved it with the previous books, but with this one, she showed us her determination to change and prove herself. Usually in some books u find that half way the book a character's personality had changed without a certain reason, or that they never described the progress, but in here and with Anne Gracie's words it was different, my pillow was socking wet at the part when they were gonna part and when they were united, and it was the first time for me to cry while reading a sex scene, still it broke my heart.
Nicholas too was the type that Anne Gracie seems to relish to write about and the type I slaver for, the typical tortured guy, and his motives to distance himself from Faith right from the beginning were plain obvious, but the reason was the enigma.
- Loved Stevens
- Loved Mac and Estrellita feisty lusty humorous quarrels
- Loved Faith pointing a gun at the ship captain
- Adored the Epilogue
Overall, and as expected from Anne Gracie *thumps up*
