My rating: 5 of 5 stars
As expected Anne Gracie has outdone herself again. I honestly couldn't put the book down, couldn't stop reading. She visualized her characters and story in ways that makes the readers believe of the existence of her characters, and even become envious of them.
Especially when there is a dark tormented hulk of a guy in the picture, and from what I have read of her stories so far, they are in abundance. And her talent shows when each tormented hero, as his own dark past that makes him so vastly different than the other guy. her characters as depth in them and glow that I still cant express how they effect me.
I loved Hope, from the prequel book The Perfect Rake I thought her childish and not that tormented like Prudence, but I was vastly mistaken, she is the type that disguises her pain with a smile, and live life to the fullest, and I cant blame Sebastian when he always thought that she glowed.
My heart went out completely to Sebastian, how he's vastly misunderstood, how his sisters treated him at the beginning, and his labored past. But oh how Hope changed his life, She made him valued, she made him connect with his sisters, and how they slowly leaned in to him for support made me cry every time.
Last thing, I loved the ending, to me it was the perfect kind to Sebastian and his sisters, and the Appearance of Gideon and his humor was endearing, and how much I couldn't stop laughing at the epilogue, Giles was hilarious.
Overall, *thumps up* and its a Must to read Anne Gracie, she's becoming on my top favorite authors list.
