The Autumn Bride (Chance Sisters, #1) By Anne Gracie

The Autumn Bride (Chance Sisters, #1)The Autumn Bride by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I'm back to the amazing Anne Gracie, How I missed her books, they are all amusing, touching, and lovely. I've been delaying this series for a while now, because it is still ongoing, but I could wait no longer.

Abby was the serious responsible elder sister type, she always cared for people and took care of them, it's not that just because she's forced in to it, but because she cares about them that she takes all the trouble without a word of complain. She's caring and lovely, I loved how she was fiercely loyal to her sisters and Lady Bea, even though she is only blood related to one sister, she and all her sisters including the aunt established a family of sorts that (it might sound silly) are united in both pleasure and adversary. She takes care of a lot of people thus gains their loyalty like the butler Featherby and the footman William, I like that about all Anne Gracie's characters, she makes then more emotionally attached to each other, main and supportive characters alike.

Max was a commitment kind of person, I hated him at first when he came in to the house charging on like a raging bull, but it was understandable all the facts he received so far confused him, but it was good that things were put in to rights straight away. When I said he was a commitment type of a guy, I meant that to him a promise made is a promise kept, no zig zaging or any of the sort, which was for a while terribly annoying, especially even when he wanted a way out of it. I absolutely wanted to be Abby at the scene after her runaway with her sisters at the end, and him coming after them, and then without even saying Hello kissing her in the middle of the street providing passerby a show to ogle and her sisters a first raw seat at that XD

Overall, *thumps up* and I expected no less ;)
