The Perfect Rake (The Merridew Sisters, #1) By Anne Gracie

The Perfect Rake (The Merridew Sisters, #1)The Perfect Rake by Anne Gracie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ok now I have seriously been turned in to mush, Anne Gracie wrote a splendid book, full of heartwarming laughter, mischievous ploys, adventurous trips, and one gallant rake.

I cant describe to you how much I loved the book. Of course the first thing that happened that I sympathized with the girls, and how a sick bastard was their grandfather.

- I Loved when Great-uncle Oswald welcomed them with open arms, how they instantly felt the grand contrast between him and his brother. Even with his well-meant compliments, I felt he was a bit insensitive toward Prue when he kept comparing her to her sisters, still I loved him.

- Gideon was the bestowed of smiles and laughs throughout the book, since his first appearance he played the smart-witted-funny-guy, and I loved truly loved how he treated Prue, when to everyone she was the Plain Jane of the flock, to him she was the glittering diamond, and that what made my heart flutter for him.

- Yeah and I musn't forget that Otterbury no he deserves to be asshole Otterskank. And well done great-uncle Oswald ;)

- Even all the girls were severely bullied and beaten by their grandfather, even 10 yrs old Grace, but as expected Prue was the one that broke hearts, just the mention of how her grandfather beating her almost to death just to miscarriage her baby made feel so sick and revolted that I wished that I would kill the bastard myself.

- Loved how James and Lily the servants were loyal to prue and the girls, and how Prue took care of them as if they were family, especially I loved the scene were James barged into the Party with a wounded head barely conscious and how he babbled to Gideon to save Prue and told him all the details he needed to know.

Overall, *10 fingers up* ^^
